New review update: 7/7/24
Zenobia is under new management. The most important thing here is the same person is cooking! Everything is still delicious as he’s an amazing cook. I just have to say a part of me will definitely miss the old menu. We always get the shish tawook, and both my husband and I prefer the original recipe. The lentil soup however was the most delicious we have ever had! I am not quite sure what changes were made to the garlic sauce. It seemed different to both my husband and I.
I will always understand wanting to pull in more customers and making changes. We always talk about anyone in the plaza not going to Zenobia was making the wrong choice. I hope it brings in more customers for them.
Selfishly I’ll be praying they bring back the original shish tawook recipe.
And I think I miss the moodier vibe a little too. But this is our favorite restaurant after 2 years of being in the state. So I guess I just loved it as it was. We will be back though!

Absolutely delicious! This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants by far! The food is always delicious and they are always so kind when you are there. We would highly recommend you try Zenobia if you...

The food: had a very sour baba ganoush for appetizer, a bland, watery lentil soup, thin, microwaved pita bread, and crusty, clumpy basmati rice. The beef shawarma was basically seasoned ground beef. The only decent thing was the chicken shish tawook (minus the rice).
The service: two people were running the entire restaurant. The cook/microwave operator and the waitress, who was very nice, and I will assume she was in training. When we walked in the place was empty but two tables had dirty plates just sitting there…for a good 20 minutes, even though the waitress came out to the dining room several times. I was wondering how those plates got left behind as usually they are cleared before the check is dropped, but when we were finished with our meal our plates were left there to greet the next customers.
The place: we were the only ones there around 5:30. The ambiance was punctuated by the sounds of the microwave door opening and closing repeatedly. No music, nothing. Cozy is not what comes...
Read moreI tried this restaurant first time - take out last night around 6:30p. Not busy. Only 1 couple inside finishing up their dinner. I ordered a Greek salad, spinach pie and their version of chicken tawook. I waited at the table where the kitchen is. The cook never cooked anything given the flattop grill at his disposal. I kept hearing him utilize the microwave!? I paid $44 for reheated microwaved chicken that was similar to eating bites of leather - super DRY. The rice was clumpy as well as it was also reheated in the microwave. Not fresh. The spinach pita pie also reheated in the microwave. What the hell? And the Greek salad had a teaspoon of feta cheese - if that. 🙄
The grape leaves were very good. And the lovely girl who took my order was friendly and professional.
However, huge disappointment. They are open until 9:00 but couldn’t grill up a fresh piece of chicken??? Even if they were busy - why would anyone go to a restaurant for microwaved dried out food? If that is what I wanted I would have hit the drive-thru McDonalds dollar menu and spent a couple of bucks instead of $44. First...
