Smoothie King — Restaurant in Bradenton

I was in Bradenton this morning with my trike who was not running. JT Bikes fixed us up and so i decided to stop here and get myself fixed up. My favorite is anything with coffee, but fruit and veges are healthier.

I'm on a liquid diet. I have a feeding tube in my tummy stemming from side effects of radiation therapy back in 1999. Throat cancer. I'm one of the lucky ones, i just lost my tonsils. No further cutting was needed. So i still can taste. But, the radiation proved to be too much.

On 6.17.22 i was hospitalized for 2 weeks at Manatee Memorial Hospital where they treated me as well as they could with limited staff. And Rick helped me out a great deal, as well. He saved my life.

Almost six weeks out of the hospital, I am still non-verbal. I don't always feel like going home and blending. I know at Smoothie King i can get quality ingredients at a fair price that i can enjoy right away! To me that is priceless!

I only wish they had brochures so i could leave them in the clubhouse or at the laundry, or free bumper stickers, or a free cap on my Birthday. Not everybody is interested in using their phones to place orders online. They have such a nice sitting area. It would be nice to check out a menu instead of being tethered to the phone.

Hope we see a Smoothie King in...

We don't come here too often but when we do the smoothies and staff are always great. The reason for 3 stars is because the parking lot is so hazardous that we've avoided going just because of fear of damage to vehicles. They have holes and divets that have never been addressed and just continue to get worse. Also, the way it's set up you have to circle the building and very tight corners(I imagine it's difficult for some trucks to turn) to get to drive thru to order, then you have to do the same circle again to go around to get out of lot. It's just weird. I know nothing can be done about the setup but they could at least spend the money to fix all of the holes and...

Smoothie was great. Ordered from app. Ordered the peanut butter toast. Thought I put no bananas. So when I got order I said whoops, I'm sorry I didn't want bananas. The employee was an absolute jerk, trying to argue and as I was going to say I'll pay for a new one if necessary, he rolls his eyes and closes the window. Then wants to put the receipt in my face " see you didn't put that!" In a extremely nasty tone. That made a 5 experience a 2, and I will not be back. No greeting, no thank you, just an absolute jerk...
