Bonfire Grill — Restaurant in Brandon

Bonfire Grill. We went to Bonfire Grill last week for lunch. A new place and didn't want to not get a seat, so we left around 10:30am. Not to worry, no customers there yet. I ordered steak and shrimp with fried rice and broccoli, my husband ordered shrimp and scallops with fried rice and broccoli. I got Dr. Pepper to drink, my husband got sweet tea. He said the tea wasn't very good, I offered to go pour it out and get him something else to drink, he said no that it may just be that he wasn't use to drinking that brand. The lady that took our order brought our food out...in to go containers. I didn't like that, I prefer a plate. The broccoli had broth or something in that end of the container, it was too tuff to eat. My steak was tender and good, the shrimp were burnt fried rice was ok, then we got some pink sauce, that made it better. My husband's scallops were burnt, as was his shrimp. His broccoli was tuff also. In the meantime a couple came in to eat and a female came in to eat. We decided to take ours home and eat. I put extra pink sauce in my plate / container. We put both containers in a bag, paid and left. When we got home all that broccoli liquid had spilled into my pink sauce and my fried rice. That definitely made my appetite disappear. My husband didn't eat his. I feel sure we won't be going back. I prefer...

i ordered take out. i drove 28 mile round trip. when i arrived at my home with my order it was completely incorrect. i called back and spoke with a VERY RUDE older woman who told me to bring back my order. when i returned the older woman insisted the error was my fault. as i ordered on line i proceeded to show her my email confirmation. again she told me the error was my fault. i then asked her if arguing with me was what she considered customer service. i then pointed out the fact i had just added another 28 mile round trip, and asked her if she thought the extra gas i used should be reimbursed. she then laughed in my face. at this point i explained the old woman that she did not have to worry about customer service any longer as i would not be returning to this establishment, and that i would be informing the multiple people i know who live nearby how i was treated. at this point the woman said" its not your fault". i proceeded to exit...

The Thai rice dishes they have are pretty good. The problem is the rude woman that works the register at night. She is an absolute nightmare. We have patronized the restaurant numerous times so you would think they would appreciate that. They close at 9:00 and I walked in at 8:35 to make an order.While she was ringing someone else up she shouts over them at me and asks if I have a takeout order. I said that I wanted to make one. She quickly interjeced, " I stop taking orders at 8:30." They have not stopped in the past nor does the sign say that. Why say your open until 9 and not say there is a cutoff, or just say there is whenever you want to? Not smart to runoff...
