First and foremost I only selected 1 star for each category to post this review. Ive personally have had my order completely forgotten every time I've been to this establishment, but the community in which you serve is the revenue your business depends on. Apalachee High-school suffered a tragic shooting that claimed lives of people who have probably sat at your bar or dinner table a time or two and probably have students who attend their schools. On September 22, 2024 bikers from all over Ga by the thousands poured in to a benifit ride held at Golden mantis tattoo. Every business probably made record sales that day and all were informed previously months ahead and given the absolute blessings to hold we ride for apalachee benifit run. While we filled your restaurant with hungry and thirsty customers the owner of Jack's called the police on its own community and paying customers. Who were spending their hard earned money and all helped raise over $40,000 and split all proceeds up between the victims injured and effected by that tragic shooting right there in your community. Our children's lives matter just as much as the teachers lives and students that were lost and injured in this travesty. Your value in the community and the people you serve fell short to absolute nothing. The officers who answered your call were the same who lead this ride for the benifit of Apalachee high-school. You should expect to see your seats collect dust and food rot in the freezers. I came in to order food and seen your business full of good people brothers and sisters spending their money to be met by the officer who was blown away by this ridiculous call and was turned away from coming in and buying or spending another dime along with many many people in the community your establishment serves food. We as the community appreciate every single business that surrounds Jack's. They opened their hearts and their stores with loving arms. Even the waitresses at waffle house and their staff donated money that they probably received in tips from people who were not allowed in your restaurant and the people who were there eating and waiting on seats are set back that yall called the police. We are thankful to see the true colors behind your business. The community will boycott your...
Read moreFriendly staff with great food. We were driving to Braselton for a getaway stay at the Winery but needed to pick up dinner for the night. We got there it’s a bar filled with drinking patrons on the 4th of July. Nothing rowdy but really loud for me. We saw filled tables of dine in patrons which made us hopeful that the food wouldn’t be just greasy bar food. When we got to our room we were very pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious. Well prepared, well seasoned, not just salty greasy food. My husband and I both ordered the shrimp dinners. Mine was grilled with asparagus, he had his fried with a salad. My grilled shrimp were tasty as well as the asparagus. But the surprise, what we in Louisiana would call lagniappe, was the “garnish” of cheese grits! I could have eaten a whole to go box of those grits. That could’ve been my dinner with a garnish of grilled shrimp, this from a shrimp lover. Smooth, creamy, flavorful! Not overwhelmingly cheesy, not smothered in salt or butter. Best cheese grits I have EVER had in my 55 years of living this life. Oh, and I don’t particularly care for cheese grits, so there’s also that. The next day we ordered lunch. My husband got the fried oyster poboy with fries, I got the fish tacos. We’re from New Orleans so we’re very picky about how oysters are fried. He took the chance since they did a good job on the fried shrimp the night before. The oysters were perfectly fried to our taste, nice crispy batter with oysters not to soft inside. The fish tacos were okay, I’m not a fan of tilapia, but otherwise the tacos were fresh and filling. I ordered a bowl of those cheese grits as my side but sadly they didn’t make it in the bag. The 3 tacos were so filling that I forgot to call them, although I would have made room for it.
All in all, the food is well worth the price. And do yourself a flavor and get a side of those...
Read moreWe’re first time customers and staying at Chateau Elan. First let me state the waitress “BOOMER” was amazing! Customer service was out of this world! My hubby and I was sitting at the bar and the waitress at the bar was NOT attentive, nor friendly. “BOOMER” comes out of no where and we got the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever! Being a lawyer and my hubby an entrepreneur and restauranteur we loved Boomer’s outstanding service.
A+ on customer service from “BOOMER” not the waitress at the bar. Boomer gets the A+.
I was going to give “Boomer” an additional $40 tip because of her service but “Boomer” stated they split tips amongst each other and I didn’t want the “no customer service” waitress at the bar to have an additional tip. Bomber for “Boomer”.
Food: C- my turkey burger came out raw and I asked for “well done” the other waitress stated to me when I told her I would like my turkey well done, she replied, “it’s a turkey burger it will be well”. Yet, my burger came out rare.
Grouper fingers: I thought the grouper was great! I love Grouper and it was done right, I didn’t like the batter it was a bit salty for my taste. The fries were salty as well. I don’t like seasoning on my fries, I like plain fries.
Classic burger: My hubby enjoyed his burger.
Boomer our waitress service was amazing and she’s an asset that’s the only reason why I’m giving a four star and makeover burger and...
