This has been my go to stay while working in Braselton. Front desk have always been pleasant and accommodating. I try to always get a room on top floor due to the many contract workers that frequently stay here the noise level overhead can be a bit much. This trip highly upset me. From the moment you walk in the hotel property there is a smell of mildew, but when you get in the halls it gets a bit stronger but in the room.....OMG the room was unbearable. I asked to change my room but the next room was worst! The temperature in the room was at 68 but with auto fan I guess to keep the moisture at bay. Once the fan clicked off the room becomes humid and the moisture/mildew smell is intense. I found myself getting a headache, congestion, tightness in the chest..then saw some wallpaper peeling. I decided to take a look and there you have it mold growing behind the wallpaper. I asked the gentlemen at the front desk if he could provide me another room he stated they were completely booked. I gathered my things to checkout but then was told a room was magically available on the first floor near the gym, no thank you! My stays have came to an end as well as my other state employees that use this particular hotel. I have reached out to corporate because this is a health concern for the public which can cause fungal pneumonia. For the front desk to state it's a maintenance issue and they have had complaints of others complaining of the mold, they can care less about the guests concerns. Hopefully they rectify this situation for their future or current guest.

Let me start off by explaining why 1 star This is by far my favorite holiday inn to stay at around the area when I am here for work, I have stayed here probably close to 20 nights so far just this year for 2025 and have spent well over $2,000 jus at this particular location on rooms. I am a diamond elite member, the staff has always treated me wonderfully, up until tonight 9/17/25 when the girl working the front desk told me that suddenly my truck wasn’t allowed on the property and would be towed at my expense. I have stayed here 19 nights before hand and it was never a concern, there are no signs stating no trucks, I try to be respectful and park along curbside allowing room for emergency services to get by if needed, tonight in particular there parking lot is full, there is a box truck taking up 5 parking spaces there is a work truck with land scape trailer taking up 4 parking spaces and the girl at the front desk apparently has ZERO issues with that. But how forbid I park my truck (no trailer) along the curb side and it’s an issue. The owner of the hotel keeps their RV here with slide outs open taking up 3 spaces at all times 24/7 As a loyal customer and diamond elite member I will not be returning to this hotel. Normally when I stay here I dealt with a guy named O’Neal or another gentleman with glasses that told me I could always park along the curb and it has never been an issue. Absolutely ridiculous

When I woke up the next morning, we noticed a piece of POOP stuck to the vanity in the bathroom. We immediately checked out of the room and left. I talked to the front desk manager, Rick, who was very apologetic and helpful. He mentioned that the general manager, Chawanda Brown, was going to give me a call the next day about my refund request because why should I have to pay to stay in a room that wasn’t fully cleaned and had poop in the counter. I also sent her an email and left a voicemail and have yet to hear back. It has now been over a week and no response. I would be embarrassed if this happened as a manager and would be so apologetic to the guest as one of us could’ve gotten really sick from this unsanitary incident. I called corporate and the woman was very helpful. Four days later I called corporate for a follow up of the case and they said that it was sent up to the hotel, also with no response. It seems like the hotel manager is not taking this seriously at all and I am so disappointed in them. Definitely do not recommend this hotel.

I check into my room late while driving from FL to NJ. The room smelled so bad but I didn’t think much of it because of how tired I was. When I woke up the next morning, we noticed a piece of POOP stuck to the vanity in the bathroom. We immediately checked out of the room and left. I talked to the front desk manager, Rick, who was very apologetic and helpful. I decided to take some quite time to relax for the night and get good night's sleep in a clean and quite room. Call it a mother get away for the evening. As I had a job near by the following day. Taking time for myself with a shorter distance to drive to a job the next day took some relief off of the distance though its not really too far from home, it was nice to stay alone, taking time for myself, and getting a good night's rest was a treat for myself with having two children and husband and different schedules during this time of year with school out for summer. While my one child with type 1 diabetes and my other child, perfectly healthy are active and a husband just as active, this working woman needed some "Me Time" to rest up and sleep in a nice king size bed after sharing a bed with my child whom has type 1 diabetes for it is a mother's constant worry 24/7. Knowing my child was in good hands at the house while I took time for myself for the first time since my child was diagnosed 2 years ago. Working a lot of hours between two jobs and driving a lot wears you out. So taking this time during the late night to sleep in a nice king size bed, cool air, and a TV turned down quietly helped me fall right to sleep, sprawled out taking up the entire bed alone. I slept all through the night even though I was all alone. My child and I FaceTimed until we went to sleep. I was surprised I woke up without as much pain from a bad back due to a back condition. Taking a nice shower in the standup shower along with the shampoo conditioner and shower gel conveniently all ready for use was easy and quick. Felt great to stay a night out and focus on relaxation and health before the next work day. Checking out was simple the following morning, and I went onto work just right down the street 7 minutes away. It may not seem much to many 'out of towners' that are here for business but is much for us locals with busy lives and hard working mothers with children, one being type 1 diabetic insulin relying lifestyle. Mothers just taking a little "Me Time" to get a good night sleep that works from 5 to 6 to 7 days a week to get a good night sleep in a king size bed with clean sheets and nice shower, is needed from time to time! Thank You for the hospitality and service. Nice location. I'd recommend this...

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with my recent stay at this hotel and the subsequent handling of a billing issue.

During my stay, I encountered a problem with my bill that requires immediate attention. I was charged $250 for my service animal, a charge that directly violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws protecting the rights of individuals with disabilities. This charge was in addition to the standard room fee.

I am aware of the legal requirements in place to protect individuals with disabilities, and it is disheartening to experience a violation of such important laws during my stay at your establishment. I kindly requested a full refund of this erroneous charge and expected prompt communication from the hotel management to discuss this matter further as informed by 3 different people including a guest relations rep.

Furthermore, I am disappointed by the manner in which this issue has been handled by your specific hotel management team, particularly the manager Chawanda with whom I interacted. I legally do not have to disclose any diagnosis and by disclosing the specific tasks of my service animal then you would in essence receive detailed information regarding my health.

The customer service provided was not only unhelpful by her; she also demonstrated a lack of understanding and sensitivity towards the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities. Such an experience is not reflective of the positive and welcoming atmosphere of IHG hotels that I've frequented in the past; most strive to maintain a certain level of quality in all areas.

The actual room, breakfast, proximity, and staff were amazing!

I believe it is essential for your establishment to address and rectify this issue promptly, both in terms of the billing error and the customer service provided. Your attention to this matter is crucial not only for the resolution of my specific concern but also to uphold the reputation of IHG hotels as a place that respects and...

My mom, 4 month old baby and I traveled from out of town for my best friends bridal shower. We have stayed at this same hotel multiple times before (including for my wedding in 2019) and had great experiences. This time... not so much. When we arrived, check in was great. The front counter employee was so kind. When we got to the room that is when it went downhill. First it was HUMID in the room. Second the room was not clean. No toilet paper, no towels, a spill on the floor, missing a pillow on one of the beds. Not expectable for the price we paid for the hotel room. We requested a room transfer and had to move all of our stuff from one room to the other. When we arrived at the second room again HUMID. So humid the sheets felt wet. Shower was dirty, floor was dirty. The fridge was frozen with a large piece of ice on the back. As a breastfeeding mother and no way to store her breastmilk, we requested maintenance to come. The front counter employee said they would be there the next day. No maintenance showed up. We decided to tough it out for 2 nights but requested a refund for the third night, it was so uncomfortable in the room we decided to head home early. The hotel stated we would have to contact expedia for the refund. Understandable. We contacted Expedia Saturday night and they tried to contact the hotel. The manager was not onsite again understandable, so we had to wait until Monday. Expedia has tried to get in contact with the hotel regarding the refund for 3 days. No Response. How frustrating. Because the hotel will not respond, they can not issue our refund. We will not be staying at this hotel again. The hotel is located in Braselton GA. A VERY popular area with Cheatu Elan right across the street. This is not acceptable for the area. Once you are in the area you will know.
