Worst Chinese restaurant we've ever been to. Let's run down the list 1. Every other place gives you free fried wontons as soon as you're seated; here you can only have them if you order soup. 2. The Pu Pu platter listed on the menu is not what they bring out - no chicken wings or fried shrimp, instead you get a fried ball of mashed up shrimp and whatever else they used for filler. It was wet and disgusting. The tray they brought our food on was cheap plastic that you get at the dollar store, and did not include the little fire cannister to heat your food, like every other place has. There were 2 pork spare ribs - sorry, two pork bones with very little meat on them, as well. 3. The waitress was extremely inattentive to us. We were literally one of two tables she had, and she spent more time preparing empty tables than she did serving the two full ones. She never checked on us through the meal, never offered to refill our drinks, and I had to ask her 3 times for a to-go container. I'm a great tipper on most occasions, but this is one of the only times I left nothing for a tip on my credit card receipt. 4. And last but not least, as we were leaving, another woman (presumably a manager or perhaps even the owner, I have no idea) approached me and asked why I hadn't left a tip. She didn't pull me to the side, she asked right in front of everyone. So, I told her. We definitely won't...

First, I reserve 5 Stars for the very rarest occasions and I take my reviews seriously. Especially the positive ones. Panda North has been my "Go To" Chinese restaurant for maybe 40 years. It is very rare to find good Chinese or especially Japanese food outside of small ethnic neighborhoods in big cities, so this was a very welcome find. In short, the food is outstanding, as is the staff, and the room is very comfortable. The prices are fair, the portions are more than adequate., and they are very high quality and consistent. I am very decerning (picky) and have never been remotely disappointed. Among the many disappointing things that came with Covid was their need to close their indoor seating (they stayed open for take-out.) Thankfully, they are back in full operation and once again are our go to restaurant. My family and I strongly recommend them and hope you enjoy the experience as much as...

Feels a bit more authentic as a Chinese restaurant than Panasian, but a bit more run-down building. I think we got a better selection of Szechuan shredded beef, tofu with bean sprouts, cold noodle with sesame sauce and wonton soup. Overall, lucky to have this place in Brattleboro and obviously they have to cater to the demographic of folks here so I won't be too hard. Good - Sesame cold noodles was great! Shredded beef was also quite nice Hard Pass - Wonton soup - pretty horrible wonton and the soup wasn't hot. Ok - Tofu with bean sprouts - there was not enough tofu in the dish and it was extremely salty yet tasteless

First the staff was not attentive at all. Took me almost ten minutes to order. After the food came I still had to ask for chop sticks or utensils to eat with. The miso soup was delicious as well as the ginger dressing with the salad. Dumplings and sushi were pretty decent. But the chicken was pretty bad. This tasted like plain frozen chicken that was cooked and then had sauce drizzled over top. The chicken was dry and tough to chew, I even up not finishing it. I wanted to order Chinese to take away when I left for a later meal but was too disappointed in the Japanese Bento to order the take away.
