Nick is a very rude employee. I have ordered twice at this store and he was the one who made my sandwiches and both times he made them wrong. The first time I called him back to tell him that my sandwich was made wrong and that I wasn’t requesting a refund nor another sandwich and his response was “ ok”. The second time I placed an order because he made it wrong again when I called him back he was very defensive and argumentative adamantly telling me that he put mustard on my sandwich, however, there was no mustard he told me to look between the meat and cheese... really? There was excessive Mayo on the sandwich, which I said no Mayo. I suggested him to make me a correct sandwich and have it delivered again to me he said ok. I waited 40 mins called to check status he said” We don’t have a delivery person available.” Now I was irritated because my lunch was over and I paid for something that was not made right. I told him that I would inconvenience myself and go to the store after work and show him the sandwich he made and he told me even if I did that I was not going to get another sandwich. In order to having this issue escalating any further I suggested that he refund my $11.17 back to my card I threw the sandwich and chips away, I made a call to the corporate office and I’m waiting for my refund. One of the things I love most about JJ's is the birthday reward aka free sandwich for being a loyalty member. As a sandwich afficionado, this adds to one of the many reasons JJ's ranks in the top 3 in commercial sandwich shops for me. Not to mention the app is user friendly and convenient in so many ways. Well today I redeemed my birthday reward during my lunch break because I only had 30 minutes, so I placed the order on the app, customizing it with ease. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich, I found it was ready in less than 5 minutes after placing the order - wow, that's freaky fast! As I was completing the checkout, the cashier (I am assuming he was the manager or franchise owner), he stated that I had a balance due and I was confused. On checkout, it totaled $0.00 with customizations but he and the sandwich technician mentioned it was because I added cheese, which I did. To be honest, I was caught off guard because I did not bring my wallet, did not have cash and do not use digital wallets. When I attempted to explain why I should not owe any balance, without hesitation, the cashier/manager just handed me the sandwich and said "here you go buddy, enjoy" - wow, again! While it was only $1.50, not having cash on me was my fault but the app said no balance and he honored it, no questions, with a neutral attitude. Today I used the gift card my dear friend gave me for my birthday we like Jimmy John’s… however, my friend goes into Jimmy John’s 2 employees of the store was very rude. Our sandwiches was not made right…we ordered 2 combos and I notice the man put jalapeño, which was very hot. I had my 3 yr old grandbaby with me. I wanted to feed her so I asked the man please can you take it off they are very hot. Also. My Sprite soda taste just like carbonated water to my surprise he got very nasty with me and said that’s the way it comes nothings wrong with it. I’m not changing nothing I said, do you mean to tell me I’m a paying customer and you don’t want to fix my sandwich and my drink he said everything’s fine you just have a bad tongue in your mouth.
