Let me tell you about the amazing service we received at Jeaux Biffs! I called a few weeks ago and asked to reserve a spot for us to throw a birthday party and I’m so glad I did! On Saturday we celebrated and had the best experience I’ve had in a long time, it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment we contacted them to reserve tables for our party of 25, the owner and his wife were incredibly accommodating and sweet. They answered all my questions and they even allowed us to come in early to decorate, which made the celebration even more special. When we arrived I had a nice chat with owner and he helped us set up for the party and showed us some of the art work his daughters had made (they have some really beautiful art pieces!) while we waited for the guests to arrive. Once everyone got settled we ordered and they had amazing turn around times for the amount of food we ordered! There were a lot of us all at once and they still managed to get us all our food hot and fresh. The food was absolutely fantastic—every dish was served to perfection, with flavors that left us all raving. From frogs legs and burgers, to fried okra and oysters there wasn’t a single complaint among us as we all enjoyed our meal. My mom absolutely raved over the tomatoes on her sandwich as they were so big and juicy. I honestly can’t make one single complaint! The service we received was attentive and warm, making us all feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to host our celebration. Jeaux Biff’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a place where memories are made. We can’t recommend it...
Read moreWe had large order $130.00 worth. 5 people. 2 orders correct. Fried okra was burnt. Fried oysters were very small, no taste. Other 3 orders had shrimp missing none had their 2 sides. Ordered salad with no carrots, onions or tomatoes. Full of carrots & tomatoes. This for an 11 year old that’s allergic to this. Advised young cashier. She asked if I wanted her to apologize. If you have to ask then no, I don’t want your apology. Owner there she did not go tell him. Everything is way over priced. $13.00 for a regular hamburger. Didn’t get fries with it. Music was loud & like punk rock. Not appropriate for the older crowd. It was very busy. Very disappointed all away around.
I will add. Ordered a double hamburger to go. Asked for ALL toppings to be put in separate container. When my son in law got ready to eat it. Lettuce & tomato on it. He is allergic to tomatoes. Grilled onions in another container ( good there). But it wasn’t a double cheese burger. It was a Grilled Chicken burger. Chicken was not cooked through.
Please reconsider going to this place. Totally unacceptable Waste of $130.00 Plus...
Read moreMy wife and I are on our first trip to Louisiana. After a long back road trip from New Orleans to Lafayette, we were ready for some food and a beer. We just happened to pass this restaurant and had to turn around to come inside. As we entered the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the owner Steve. He came to our table and answered any questions we had about the menu. He offered us suggestions/recomendations, which we always trust, especially when it comes from the owner. After having local Cajun cuisine for five days, we were looking for something a little different. A burger was good with me and I went with the Blaise and the jalapeno hushpupies, both where very good. My wife got the chicken poboy and fried okra, she agrees, both were delicious. Local art is displayed on the walls and available for sale if anything catches your eye. Some were created by his daughter, she is very talented! He spent a good bit of time with us in conversation, we appreciated his insight and his food! Thanks Steve!! From the michigan fan and...
