Ordinarily I would give this Cafe a five star review because the food is phenomenal. I have been going to this place for years and when my daughter comes in for a visit for Florida it's the first place she wants to eat at. My issue these days is the owner's newly acquired bad attitude. I don't know if it's because of Covid-19 or maybe because she's going through some personal issues,but she has been slapping things down on the counter and she is being abrupt and sharp with the customers. When my daughter came down she wanted to swipe her own credit card and the owner rudely tells my daughter, " if your that paranoid you should not have a debit card." My sister and I noticed her rudeness when we went during the week of May 17th and this incident with my daughter happened the week of May 24th, 2020. Maybe an established business with good food thinks that personal, respectful and an appreciative attitude towards customers doesn't matter anymore... but it...

This place gets 5 stars. Local owned and it is a gold mine! The best friend catfish you will ever have in your life. ALL YOU CAN EAT fried catfish for under $20. The shrimp Po-boys are great as well as the onion rings. The place is really small. So, if you want to eat lunch here, you will need to arrive around 11 to beat the crowd! I usually order #5 which is 5 catfish filets cut in half and then fried. The plate comes out with 5 hot and fresh fried strips of catfish with fries and coleslaw. Then, they bring out a ToGo box with the remaining 5 half strips of fried catfish. Most of the time I can barely eat what is on my plate. So, I already have a ToGo with catfish ready. A softdrink and 10 strips of catfish...

Great catfish. Understand that an order of 2 filets means you get 4 pieces of fish. Very good. It's not made until after you order, so it is hot and fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp for the last hour getting soggy. There is a drive through. Parking is not easy. The seating area consists of 8 tables. Worth the stop for the catfish and the shrimp alone. The sides are different. The fries are good and the coleslaw is borderline good. The corn leaves something to be desired. If they included a good corn maque choux, maybe it would bring the whole meal up a few notches. Still, it's...
