Waffle House — Restaurant in Breaux Bridge

Absolutely horrible service. Waitress and cook were very rude. The food we asked for was declined simply bc the cook didn’t want to take the extra time to steam the hash browns due to my sister’s health issues. Waitress Jodie never checked back with us to make sure everything was okay. Both the cook and waitress threatened to spit in our food after it being served to us bc we were asking questions trying to understand why the cook couldn’t steam the hash browns. My brothers drink was never given to him. The waitress decided to keep my brothers nephew’s food bc he wasn’t inside to claim it. Both the cook and the waitress cussed all of us out for pointing out the issues in our orders and our service. Police had to be called. I never received half my order and then was given and attitude when I politely asked for Jodie to make sure she took my pancake off before totaling my ticket being I never received it before all of this went down. I’m pretty sure they two employees were on drugs because their mood changed in the flick of a switch. I have history. I know the signs. Overall would definitely NEVER recommend this location to anyone looking to enjoy their Waffle House visit. Service, food, and environment were all completely horrible. We paid and left with what we had. Didn’t even get to enjoy a visit because the staff decided to amplify an issue that started as just a statement into a horrible ordeal that ended up involving police interference. Do NOT go here unless you want to end up with the worst...

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!! I witnessed an employee bring some kind of creature in the restaurant & leave it on the counter where they prepare people’s food!! She took the creature out, played with it and then put it back and started cooking customers food. SHE DIDNT WASH HER HANDS NOR USED GLOVES. This genuinely sickens me because i love waffle house but i have never experienced something like this!!!!!!!! I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO CORPORATE. I wish i could put ZERO STARS.

On another note, Ms. Felicia was so helpful towards my concerns about the employee who brought that creature in the restaurant. Very nice woman! She too shared the same disgust as I did.

Waffle house, YALL NEED TO DO BETTER....

We we're on our way home after 12 hours on the road in our motorhome. It happened to be a cold, rainy and misty, miserable weekend. We wanted to be out of the camper and hit up some warm comfort food... breakfast to be exact. We were greeted as usual at waffle House. We had friendly faces. Great service. Great food. We left feeling good and our bellies full. That all star breakfast is great! Thank you all at this location for giving us exactly what we needed to drive 3 more hours to get home. You have no idea what that...
