First time visiting this Wendy’s on Christmas Eve. Understandably holidays can be a little slow— but the service was even slower. Pre-ordered in the app— just some fries and nuggets and a Dr Pepper. One other car in the drive-thru line and we waited for our food for almost fifteen minutes. Oh, and they were out of Dr Pepper— or every soda for that matter. We were offered the option of two beverages. Water or a chocolate frosty. Is a frosty even a beverage? Despite wanting neither of those options there was no way of getting refunded for the large drink I paid for so I opted for the frosty for my son.
As for the fries, they were missing salt, but they were cooked decently. I did ask for them to be fresh— cannot say for sure they were fresh - maybe some of them. The nuggets— they were hot, tasted like usual, no complaints from the kids.
Overall the experience was subpar— especially with two maybe three employees working and only two customers in the drive thru and none inside. Would not personally recommend this particular Wendy’s unless you have no...

Next, as we ordered, they were out of several things on the menu, including all beverages in the drink machine (which we found out after paying for a drink). But we persevered. We finally got our food, one item of which was incorrect. I began to eat my sandwich and it was totally inedible. The chicken was so rubbery I couldn’t even chew it. I took one bite and spit it out. Tried to get a refund and the staff were incredibly rude, saying the sandwich was half gone so they wouldn’t give our money back. Read moreYoung lady in the drive-thru overcharged me for the order. When I questioned the amount, she gave me the correct amount and charged my card. When I asked for my receipt, she stated the machine was "broken". I immediately canceled my order and asked for a refund. While she was getting the manager, I checked my account to see she charged me the wrong (higher) amount! The manager came talked to the employee (never acknowledged/spoke to me), took cash from the register (what I should have been charged) and handed it to me. At that time, I told her the amount charged to my card and she gave me the difference (in cash). It's been my experience that credit card charges are refunded to the card, not cash back.
