sushi: 8/10 service: 6/10 food: nonexistent the show: 12/10 would recommend
so i’m not a review person. but y’all have to hear this one. it was my second time there tonight and my first experience was AMAZING!! this one on the other hand... well we start out by being greeted by (i’m assuming) the manager. she got our drinks, appetizer, and sushi to start. after that, we ordered a huge hibachi dinner to split. we got our soup and salad and then the waiting game began. and never ended. we never saw our server/manager ever again. after an hour of playing on our phones, we flagged down another server to check the time on our food. she came back saying there’s no definite time and that other tables haven’t gotten their food either. about 10 minutes later, we decided it was time to leave so we went to the front to pay our bill - minus the hibachi of course. a few confused servers later, we finally got to our original server/manager. when they tell her what the issue was, she FLIPS OUT and makes a scene through out the dining room. the assumption is that she took the order and gave the responsibility of serving the food to another server. so she comes back to the register and says if we wait 5 more minutes, we’ll get our food AND our next meal for free. we were ready to go so we decided to just pay for the food we did get and head out. she INSISTED that we get our entire meal for free and was very apologetic. she was super kind and that made up for the misunderstanding.
so the rundown is the Paradise roll was amazing and their sweet tea was really good too. since i had a great first experience, i’ll be back. three...

While I am sure it will take subsequent trips and maybe one day being able to sit down at the location, I will be doing just that, returning.
The two rolls I ordered were fresh, approriately priced and tasty. I did have concern if they contained all of their ingredients but I was satisfied overall so didn't delve as much.
In short, try it, see for yourself and don't let the...
Read moreBest sushi in Acadiana. Oh wow! This small and unassuming restaurant in Breaux Bridge makes some of the best sushi/sashimi in Acadiana. Our group of four tried about 7 different special rolls (all excellent), and received a special white tuna sashimi plate from the chef, gratis. When they learned there was a birthday in our group of four, staff brought a beautiful desert that we could all share. The hostess was so lovely and kind, and we followed her recommendations when ordering. Last but not least, they are running a two-for-one sake/wine special, so we had four bottles of sake for the price of two. Fantastic place – can’t...
