The Boiling Spot — Restaurant in Breaux Bridge

Had a BLAST last night at the boiling spot. Reminded me of Crawfish Festival circa 1996. I had the 6 dollar box. Them turkey necks were SOO tender, I never even had to chew them. I Loved that sauce they made with it.

The service was nice too. They have me extra stuff in my box. Lol!

But the BEST part was seeing ALL my family and friends. I LOVE being a Creole.

Chad and Ms. Lafernette got it going ON baby. I could go there every night. Nobody was acting a FOOL, just pure fun.

I ordered online at 2 pm so that by 7pm my order should be ready, I received a call 10 mins before 7 when I’m about to turn in the drive thru line to be told they out of items on my order. The lady I spoke with was rushing me to make a choice if I wanted my money back or something else. The boil crawfish was tumbled in Cayenne pepper its pepper not seasoned and the crawfish was hard and dark. The shrimps was big and beautiful but seasoning was a miss from the down south Louisiana flavor we accustom too. I wasn’t wow’d but I’m still tempted to give them another shot cause everyone...

I usually get a boiled turkey neck from this spot at least twice a week, they’re great. I just tried their crawfish for the first time and had to write this review. They were PERFECT. Good size, a lot of fat, seasoned well, easy to peel. Boiled to perfection, the shell comes right off the meat. I’ve NEVER had crawfish this good. I’m don’t think I’ve ever crawfish of this quality before. AND THATS...
