AllBerto's Mexican Kitchen — Restaurant in Breckenridge

Not really sure how this place has a 5 star rating on Google, I feel like even a 2 is generous. Service was alright but the food was super underwhelming. Our server rang things in correctly but we received the wrong items on multiple things - ordered bottle but got draft modelo, got black beans when we ordered refried.

One of us got the Birria tacos, which were fine but super soggy and made with like grocery store Mexican blend cheese. I got the Chile relleno which was pretty bland, and the sides were super underseasoned. Also, if I’m paying $20 a plate I kind of expect chips and salsa (like every other Mexican restaurant but apparently not this one). Everything started out fantastic. Our waiter was very nice and personable until there was an issue. The sauce on my food tasted like soap, so I asked if I could get something else. When I saw that nothing else sounded good, I declined them getting anything else for me. When we got the bill, they said that they took half off that entree for me. The food was not edible, why would you think you still get 50%?? Had to literally fight them to get a sub par entree that tasted like actual soap removed. We came here from Florida, and all three of us said by far the best Mexican food we’ve ever had! Chris the server was not only on top of his game but so fun to hang out with!
