We have gone here many times in the past and the food was great. Tonight I was sickened by the bite I took of the sesame chicken. It was not cooked all the way through! I told the young girl that worked there and then took my daughter to the restroom. When we came out the owner yelled and pointed at the chicken saying that's the way it looks! All the chicken looks that way! I cooked the chicken for 30 minutes, it's done! I said it was raw when I took a bite. He continued to point to another chicken dish that I did not eat saying all chicken looks that way. He was loud and yelling. I walked away because I did not want to cause a scene. I was not wanting a refund or anything like that, I just wanted them to know, I understand things can happen. I also said it very quietly to the young girl not drawing any attention to myself. China Pearl has the best Pepper Chicken! Most Pepper Chicken is Bell peppers, which I love by the way, and chicken. They have chiken seasoned well with pepper and jalapeno peppers! I always start my meal with 1/2 a cup if the Hot and Sour soup and 1/2 Pepper Chicken! I top it off with hot pepper sauce and soy sauce!! They have so many dishes to choose from. I scavenge as many veggies out of any dish that I want, that I go home guilt free! Frog legs, Srimp, Fish, salad and even pizza! Something for everyone. I have eaten here so many times over the last almost two decades, and I have mixed reviews.. If I base it off of my most recent visit, I would say they didn't have most of the dishes on the buffet... Out of mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, the cheese sticks and garlic bread were old and hard... It seems this is the usual for this buffet.

They don't see a rush in getting fresh food out for some reason I guess they figure you're already there and they already are getting your money so why rush?
