El Burrito Rey — Restaurant in Bremen Township

Guys if you are ever in Oak Forest and you are looking for traditional Mexican style food please look no further this family-owned business has been in business for over 30 years I am happy to say I am reoccurring customer as I have had vegetarian tacos I have had the chicken burrito and because I am lactose intolerant they make sure to not have any sour cream or cheese whenever I order whenever I go inside they know me by name and they recognize my face it makes you feel good and let you know that you're not just a profit for them but you feel like family when you come inside I had a family gathering and I ordered a few trays so when I came to pick up everything there was a gentleman that came from the back to tell me you can get inside of your vehicle please pop your trunk and I will put everything in your back trunk for you I thought that was amazing world-class customer service and I definitely had a great turnabout with my family everyone simply love the elotees that I brought I got a pan of chicken steak and beef tacos I also got a pan of refried beans I also got yellow rice plenty of salsa my whole entire family were blown away by the authentic taste of it so don't be surprised when you are flooded with tons of patrons that say I referred them I do believe that is so important to recognize and share good business to others that are seeking it and also delivering world-class service like world class customer service is so easy to give yet it's so hard to find it El Burrito Rey capitalizes on that I will be coming back a lot LOL and I will make sure I bring new people to the location thank you guys for being such a pillared in the community I appreciate all you guys do and what you...

On that date, I visited El Burrito Rey restaurant. I should have stayed with my old game play and just got their stuffed Gordita dinner with the refried Beans and Mexican rice. BUT today my eyes were bigger then they shoulda been. Covid-19 anti-travel. The deal is you bring gome extra food.for later or tomorrow. But I messed up bad and got a second dish to go home with (The enchilada w/fries) that was just money wasted today. The cashier asked me during my ordering what type of sauces I wanted and I said mild. THEY PUT GREEN ENCHILADA SAUCE ON MY FOOD. And then their cheese was something liquid. I've eaten enchiladas before!!! Hey, as I remembered them the enchilada there surpose to be meat rolled into flour tortillas shells w/ cheese on top of them then the red enchilada sauce draping over the top and sides. I was So, So disappointed in the Preparation n delivery of this dish. So for now on I'm going to just stick with what I know to be good dishes while at certain restaurants. But now that's not very exciting is it but at least I won't be taken by surprised on some mystery food dish. Hell I'm not Mexican I just enjoy eating some of their dishes. But that was a hot mess. The Gorditas still are decent. They give you two with their dinner orders, rice&beans. Oh and I did stop at a table to opened my bag before i existed to look at my food order because they had posted a sign clearly stating to check your order before you go!!!! Let me start by saying I’ve ordered from this place and have never been disappointed…….. until now! The rude girl that worked the front desk who is clearly trying to be someone she is not had a huge attitude right from the second I placed the order. Whatever, I paid her no attention and ordered my food. My wife picked the order up and brought it home. Needless to say, we were given someone else’s order. I called Ms. attitude girl and she had the nerve to blame it on my wife that it was her fault!!!! Wait what????? Then she says “well yeah she came in and didn’t even look at the menu and just took the bag that I handed her”……. Again…..what????? Why would anyone look at the flipping menu when you placed the order already?????? Furthermore….. she handed her the bag!!!!!! So now she proceeds to tell me my bag is still sitting there to bring back the food and get it and it was the same price anyways!!!! Are you kidding me????Very disappointed!!!!!!
