Granite America — Local services in Bremen Township

We had built a small wet bar. Our requirements were 2 - 9' slabs x 26", one for the bar area, the other for seating. We had shopped almost every supplier in the Chicago-land area. All of our criteria and expectations (price, type of stone, delivery, installation), were met and exceeded by Manuel and his team with Granite America, Oak Forest IL. We had set a budget for our project and Manuel guided us thru the purchasing process, not only keeping us within budget, but providing a more costly product at a discounted price, below every other supplier we had contacted. When it came time to select our slab, his team was in the yard moving multiple slabs around so we could select what was best for our installation. After having selected the slabs and the templates made, we were invited to come back in and verify the layout of the templates on the selected slab. This insured us that the layout, sink cutout, and grain pattern were what we wanted. After the slabs were cut, the team that installed the slabs brought them down into the basement cautiously avoiding any scuffs to the wall surfaces. (not an easy task, considering each piece was 600+ lbs and 9' long) Upon completion, they sealed the counters and meticulously cleaned everything prior to leaving. I was very pleased with the service Granite America provided. I had my kitchen counters redone, and they did an amazing job from start to finish. I am legally blind, so I had a hard time seeing the pieces of granite. The employees were great about listening to what I had in mind, then helping me find just the right stone.

There were several steps between picking the stone and having it in my kitchen, and Manuel from GA was always on top of the communication. He sent me emails at every step, while also calling me every time he sent me an email so that I knew to look for them.

The guys who came out to measure my counters and later to install them were friendly, helpful, and professional. They did an excellent job - the counters look wonderful and were installed perfectly in under six hours. They were late in arriving by an hour, but that, and the fact that the left my back gate open, allowing my dog to get loose, are the only negative things I have to say about the entire experience. (Fortunately, my dog isn't a runner, and friends came up the driveway just as she was making her escape.)

In short, I highly recommend working with Granite America. I was very pleased with my experience, and will call them again if I need any other...

From the moment we walked through the doors at Granite America, we were treated very well by Manuel, and his staff. Manuel was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions regarding the granite countertops that we were looking for. He was very patient with our many visits until we found the perfect piece of granite, and still more questions. Sergio's precise measurements, cutting, and polishing of our pieces were executed perfectly. The installation team worked very well together, and worked out a solution to getting our very heavy Kohler under mount sink attached to the granite, and put in place beautifully. They were courteous, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have in our home.
