Mickey's Gyros II — Restaurant in Bremen Township

We have gone to Mickeys for years as we live close to the restaurant. Usually we have really great service. Yesterday was not the case and I was shocked. We went thru the drive thru and ordered the following items: Combo beef sandwich (that’s a sandwich that has sausage and beef on it) A big Mickey no mustard or cheese, French fries, breaded zucchini and a chicken pita with lettuce and onion only. My husband had to tell the person taking the order 3x about the combo sandwich. He gives us the total and we say that’s not right. We get to the window he says what kind of combo? He didn’t charge us so again my husband tells him. He says you want sausage on that? My husband says yes. He gives us a new total and we pay it. We get home and my husband takes a bite of his sandwich and there is no sausage. The fries are lukewarm and my chicken pita has a few pieces of onion and one lettuce leaf and the chicken was extremely salty. I didn’t complain about the chicken or fries because I can reheat fries and deal with an over salty chicken breast.i can also add more lettuce and onion at home. I shouldn’t have to but anyways. I call the restaurant and tell them what happened the guy says no problem come back and we will give you a sausage. So I go there and he says where’s the sandwich? I said my husband took a bite of it and it’s at home. He says I can’t give u a piece of sausage until I see the sandwich because my cook said he put it in there. If he would have told me I needed to bring the sandwich back on the phone I would have brought it back with me. We had just come off of working a long day and were tired which is why we went and got take out in the first place. I said why can’t you give me the piece of sausage again? He says again my cook said he put it in there and I have to have proof and I’m sorry. Well it wasn’t worth going back again so I decided I would give them a review instead. We know some of the staff there and this is unacceptable to us especially since we are in a pandemic with the covid 19 virus and we are choosing to give them business.Plus by him saying this he is basically calling me a liar over a piece of sausage. Really? What would I have to gain by lying about a piece of sausage? This is the second time this has happened. The first time we let it slide. I have had issues before placing my order. So I have it pre-typed order so there is no mistakes. Last night I could not find my pre-typed order. So I go in place my order AND ask for my receipt. Everything as I asked. The young lady calls out my order to the guys in the back, exactly as I ordered it. I get home and there is extra mustard an NO mayo on my food. I called the young lady at the counter who took my order put the phone down and I can clearly hear her laughing. She comes back to the phone & says all we can do is you can bring it back. I do not live close. I told her I know she is only telling what she was told to say. I asked for manager. Now I was put on hold. He picks up and says yes or yup. I asked is this a manager? He says yes, I asked do you know what I'm calling about or shall I repeat it. He says no you can bring the food back and I asked who will pay for my gas to make another trip. I do not live in the area. He says you can save the food & bring it back and what will I eat for dinner if I do that. I told him I am taking pictures of my food with all this mustard & my receipt. And the next time I'm that way, I will be back. Still hear the young lady laughing in the back ground. Customer service was not high on the list this time for me. This place is really going down hill. It's sad actually, because I used to love this place. My last THREE (2 take-out, one phone order) were so wrong that thought it was a prank. I won't go into the details of the wrong orders, we've all had wrong orders that we don't notice until we get home. The food quality is want I want to warn people about. The 1st order was ribs, they were EXTREMELY fatty, and the little bit of meat I did find was as hard as the bones were. The 2nd order was a beef sandwich that was so overcooked that I couldn't even chew it. The 3rd order was today, this order was for my brother and I. As usual, my order completely wrong to the point that we both had to eat something that we didn't order. I could tell that the girl on the phone was new or not very sharp so I took my time and explained everything slowly. I ordered 3 cheese dogs with American cheese slices, NOT the liquid cheese, and raw onions, and he a beef with mozzarella. I got 3 cheese dogs liquid cheese, and a ton of grilled onions. His beef did not have cheese, and again, it was extremely overcooked. We also ordered cheese stix, and mushrooms to share. I've attached a picture of the (mini-)mushrooms we received. I've had their mushrooms before, and NEVER have I seen anything like this before. Mickey's has now become a "Buyer Beware" restaurant in my book, but I don't see me returning...
