Durbins — Restaurant in Bremen Township

Music, fun, and being entertained Durbins of Midlothian is the place to be. This is my second time coming here. This establishment has new owners of two months. Great investments to improve the place have been implemented . A new parking lot and a new dance floor for excitement have been installed.. What is interesting about this is that the floor is portable.. It cost 15 000 dollars. At night, the Led light floor is installed and removed after closing. On Fridays before 9:30 pm. You can order food.. I ordered a 14-inch stuffed pizza. It is 1/2 off on Fridays but not the toppings. The regular price is $23.99, and each topping is $2.50. The pizza was worth it, but I was disappointed with the lack of sausages and olives I ordered as toppings for the pizza.. I did meet the cook. He stated he covered the pizza with lots of toppings.. I only ate two slices. Maybe it was on other parts of the pizza. He was a really nice person. As the night went on, I did see people dancing the night away. The place has slots for gambling. I saw many people playing them throughout the night. I do recommend this place. Come check it out. Before I left, I had two people give me compliments and one of them gave me a flower. Some people are friendly there to help you feel comfortable. I was here Wednesday night as well I ordered the chicken wings, which was 50 cent each, and French fries cost $4 dollars. Today 11/24/2017 my step mother and I visited for drinks and pizza. Upon walking in we were never greeted or welcomed, instead we got stared at like we were aliens. Why you asked....... we were the ONLY black people in the establishment. We sat down for about 5 min before the waitress came over to our table. We asked her for a drink menu and there was none waitress stated that she has a full bar and can make anything. So I told her that I want a short island and she had no clue what I was talking about. Instead she should have said she can make ALMOST anything. When my step mom asked her about other drinks she started saying things she didn't have. Thought she had a full bar right..... me to. So we order our food. Step mom states she has a Groupon and she states well today is half price pizza you can't use the Groupon on the pizza nor anything else cause we can't combine the specials... pissed. She came to our table once to ask if everything was ok. When she brought us our food, which was very good, I ask for napkins and she brings us 2 napkins, ha ha ha yup 2 napkins. Then i ask if we can get more napkins and she brings back 4 napkins. I ask her if we can get new plates from the ones that were sitting on the table cause they were dirty and she tells me they aren't dirty they're clean. I had to tell her look at the back. She did nothing but entertain the bar. She came to our table more times to bring our bill and clean the table then she did the whole hour and 45 min we been here NEVER COMING BACK...

I've been to this Durbin's location before and I never had a problem but on 2/18/17 at 2:30 a.m a group of us got kicked up for not tipping the waitress on a bill that was $71.44.. First off, when we got there we were sitting at the table for about 15 minutes without anybody coming to greet us. My fiancé had to search for a waitress and she ended up finding the young woman Crystal... Second off she was a terrible waitress everytime we needed something from food to drinks we had to find her... Then once she noticed our bill was getting high she literally stalked us until we paid the bill.. We paid the bill and she was upset because she felt like she deserved a tip but she didn't serve us. So I guess she told the the "bouncer" and he decide to come to the front patio where we were smoking and told us we had to leave because they were closing but the DJ was still playing music and everybody was still in there dancing,laughing,and drinking. And it was 2:30am and they close at 3am. The bouncer got into a argument with a friend of mines and started using very offensive language and that's when the truth came out that he was kicking us out for not tipping... Also, we all had to pay $5 to get through the door because the beer was $1.25 for the night... I will never step foot into a Durbins ever again and we literally go...
