Captain D's — Restaurant in Bremen

The food was good. Price and quantity do not match up. Fish is skinny like a pencil. Then they did not give me my full order. I had to go back in and get the rest of my order. Little slow on getting the order but that is fine when the order is correct. They need to check the order and make sure it is right, before giving to customer. Another thing as well, Cole Slaw is a big thing with my family. I been all over the states and Captain D's Cole Slaw is usually the same and good. That is why we usually get it from Captain D's. This last time it was nasty, watered down and shorted on ingredients. I WILL TELL YOU THIS CAPTAIN D'S, KEEP GOING THE PATH YOUR ON AND YOU WILL BE CLOSING STORES! JUST SAYING! IF I GO IN THERE ONE MORE TIME AND IT IS A MESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND FOOD NOT CORRECT, YOU WILL HAVE LOST A LIFE LONG CUSTOMER!!!! Edited on 12/30/17! Well, I get food today and the Cole Slaw taste nasty. Way too much Mayo and missing something else but not sure what it is maybe vinegar, I don't know. Done with Captain D's. This has been going on since the last time I made a review. Why the Hell people can't follow a recipe! UPDATE: 01/19/25 - Still basically the same. The Coke Slaw is not the recipe they use to have or they don't know how to make it. Really sucks when the Cole Slaw is not good. I thought I would check again and come back after a year. Service was not bad. They no longer take orders over the phone only online or app. Well your online is Glitchy at best, not willing to down load a app on my phone for this. So I had to go in. Fish had a slight funny taste. Maybe old oil, I'm not sure. The Employee did not know there own menus, I had to show him what they sold according to their Menu. He seemed all serious. I miss the Old Captain D's. These Younger folks are dry and no social skills. Food Just is not like it used to be. No more going back. It's not getting any better. Sad. Very dissatisfied. On April 8th 2023 I Had my son pick me up a chicken finger and fish plate on his way home and when I bit into piece of chicken there was a hair in it Gross . It seriously made me want to throw up Also there were barely any fries on the plate and the ocra was so greasy you couldn't even eat it . I called them to let them know and I spoke with a lady who identified herself as Cheryl and said that she was the general manager. Rather than being apologetic she was very much the opposite and even made excuses saying well that's just how our ocra is because we deep fry it and so it's going to be greasy. I explained to her how it was literally a burst of oil when I bit into it and still she was just rude and he offered no apologies as one would expect especially coming from the general manager of all people. She was just very rude in my opinion. She went on to say they would replace the order but I would need to show a reciet and I said that's fine and saying nothing more she handed the phone to another employee who took down my name and what the order was . One Star Absolutely Disgusting. Shut This Location Down.

I’ve given the Captain D’s in Bremen, GA two chances and both were HORRIBLE. I actually love Captain D’s as a brand, but this location is a complete joke and a waste of hard-earned money.

First of all, the chicken strips looked like chicken nuggets tiny, dry, and absolutely not worth almost $13. And don’t even get me started on the temperature of the food it was cold to the touch. Not lukewarm. COLD. I literally broke my fast to get dinner with my kids so we could enjoy the Kids' Choice Awards together. They wanted Chick-fil-A, and I should have listened. I would’ve been better off eating a PB&J.

No wonder there's never a line at this place. Every time I drive by, it looks deserted and now I understand why. When I pulled up, I honestly thought it was closed. It looked completely lifeless. After this experience, it should be.

Please shut this location down the same way they shut down Popeyes in Bremen. This place is an embarrassment to the Captain D’s...
