I am a fan of this new place that appeared in the old juice place. I was never fond of the juice place, they were always out of whatever you wanted, rude, and overpriced. So, I was stoked to see something new in a very convenient and close location to me. I was especially excited after trying my first sip of their coffee. It's very good coffee and it has consistently been professionally crafted the last several times I have visited. I'm pretty sure the barista is also the owner/operator. She's very friendly and professional. We got to talking about her coffee and she mentioned that it is a special blend created just for her by a local coffee roaster. It does taste very unique, different from the norm, but still very good. So different in a good way. Her prices are VERY reasonable, especially with how everyone is taking advantage of customers by blaming inflation. Also, something I appreciate, her pricing is CONSISTENT. Some places around here in Bremerton will charge me something completely different for the same exact drink depending on what day it is and I suppose the mood of the barista. Schotzies is always the same price every time.
I really hope they can stick around for a while. If you're in the area, you would do a lot better by going to Schotzies than the alternatives like Starbucks. I applaud them for opening a coffee place so close to Starbucks, but I believe they can be some very good competition with the great prices and special blend coffee. I have added this to my rotation of coffee places I love, and this one is the closest to me.
Update 11/3/25: two years later and this place remains one of my favorites. They have added breakfast and lunch menu items and it is amazing! My favorite is the breakfast sandwich. Seasoned perfectly. I also really enjoyed their take on biscuits and gravy. I am slowly working my way through the menu and everything has been so delicious. You can walk up and get yourself some breakfast or a signature lunch sandwich for a great price. If you are reading this and it's before noon, head over there and get artfully crafted drink and a lovingly made sandwich! I swear if you're not hooked on this place already,...
Read moreI worked as a Barista for years and love coffee. This coffee stand is new to the neighborhood, and I thought I would give it a couple of months before I gave it a try. When I pulled up, the batista was walking towards the building, and we smiled.. no smile back. I asked her what kind of chocolate they used? I always ask a couple of questions before I order so I have an idea what the drink will taste like. She said they used Hershey syrup. I decided to order a 24oz Latte. She started making the drink and I asked what brand of chia do you use? My husband loves chia, but it really makes a difference on taste based on the brand. She said I don't know spiced. I then asked what coffee they use and her response I don't know something local, I think. She didn't speak anymore words rang up the transaction and passed me the receipt. She charged me for a 32oz, not a 24oz. I said nothing signed the receipt and thanked her. No response again. The coffee wasn't anything special a little on the burnt side. They use whole milk, which I prefer. But the customer service was awful. I live a couple blocks away from this stand and wanted it to be good so I could support my...

The business has a cute name too, like shots of coffee but based off of a German word meaning sweetheart 🥰 anyways come check it out, she's so sweet and knows her regular...
