American Donut Makers — Restaurant in Bremerton

I would love to know what these donuts taste like this business moved in a ways back but I still haven't been able to get in there because they're never open when we go by hours say till 12:00 gone in at 10:30 11:30 11:00 never open cars driving in the parking lot wondering what's going on. please update your hours I get your closing when you run out but that doesn't work for a lot of people in the community that are simply spending their own time and effort to drive to your business only to find your door closed when it says it should be open. We would love to participate in eating your donuts and supporting your business and helping your employees with their jobs. We're just asking that you post legitimate hours or just an idea of when you're closing daily. It cost a lot of gas to continue to drive there for nothing. Great: Fantastic customer service, happy to hear employees are paid a living wage, and their branding is adorable.

Needs work: Possibly the worst apple fritter I've ever had. It was expensive, even more minuscule than the example fritter in the case, but so dense and doughy I'm certain there was a mistake made in the recipe. One bite and it hit the compost bin. I hate wasting food, but this wasn't edible. The flow of the shop is as poorly executed as the recipes; customers are crammed into a tiny corner of the store with little thought to social distancing or our rainy weather (if there are more than 2-3 people in line you must wait outside awkwardly on the short end of the sidewalk).

The donut prices are not listed anywhere in the store, so it felt like the lady played with the price, then suddenly I was paying $25 for 6 donuts and a stale coffee. They rushed the sale with their “box offers” that are not really offers. I understand they started recently, definitely lots of room for improvement. I wish them luck, but I am not coming back until they have a clear signage about how much their products cost, and of course improve that coffee. It is impossible to make a decision on the fly if you are a first time customer trying to decide which donut you want from their almost 25 flavors. Their counter is very tiny, so it only fits one or two persons inside the store. There are no RAW or diet sugar, only white, if that matters. Customer service looks like it depends on how do...
