Love the coffee and love the vibe. I do wish they would use local bakers instead of getting their baked goods from Seattle though.
I also seriously don't understand why they stop serving regular drip coffee at 1pm. Those machines are super easy to clean, or at least no harder than any of the other machines, and it's just the easiest bang for your buck in terms of those purchasing and the company profiting. A group I was with was in there and two people wanted drip. It was after one so they said they stopped at one but since there were two of them, they'd make another pot. They made another pot, gave each of them a cup, and then promptly dumped the pot out🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I'm not sure if they've just never worked in food service before, but if you're going to go to the trouble of making another pot, at least wait until the people who ordered it are gone and don't want a refill (which our people did and were sorely disappointed and kind of flabbergasted). It's just wasteful honestly and makes zero sense.
For parking I'd either recommend parking at the shopping center across the street where Larry and Kristi's is (and get yourself a LOCAL pastry while there) and then walking over, or back into the parking lot at vim and vigor to park so you can much more...
Read moreMy new favorite spot in Bremerton! Would live here if I could lol. And I basically do because I went like 4-5 times in their first week of opening ...
10/10 atmosphere and the interiors were so thoughtfully designed and built. The owners are incredible people and the baristas are all so friendly. Amazing views of the mountains and water, and it's the perfect spot to be on moody rainy days AND sunny ones with cozy furniture and an outdoor patio. Great for dates, friend meetups, and occasional remote work!
Still working my way through the menu, but here are my favorite items so far: Love all the smoothies. So creamy with actual REAL ingredients. Iced lattes are 10/10. Nice full tall glass and so delicious, and I love that they use and sell Olympia Coffee beans. They have pastries from Seattle's Macrina Bakery and they are SO good. I love their warmed-up chocolate berry muffin, which is vegan and gluten-free (I'm not even vegan or gluten-free). Their spinach and cheese brioche bun is also a fave. And great breakfast burritos too! If you need a healthy grab and go breakfast, they also have juices and yogurt as well.
Another plus — it's right next to Thrive Yoga Manette, so it's the perfect post-yoga ritual! ily,...
Read moreI came here with a friend and was extremely disappointed because I came to eat breakfast and their breakfast menu is already pretty limited, however, they do not accommodate for people who are lactose intolerant and cannot have dairy. I requested to get a breakfast sandwich with no cheese and was told that the manager will not allow for staff to remove the cheese from a pre-made sandwich. Any coffee shop that I have ever been to in the state of Washington has always removed the cheese from the sandwich because otherwise people who are lactose intolerant cannot eat them. I don't understand why this was such a problem and they refused to do it when they are pre-made sandwiches and can remove the cheese before they cook it like every other coffee shop. otherwise, the interior was really pretty and the coffee was okay. I just think they should reconsider this rule because there are so many people who cannot have cheese and it essentially forces anyone that has a lactose intolerance to eat somewhere else, which is a large percent of...
