There were signs posted everywhere about NO DOGS allowed at the Blackberry Festival and all I saw was dogs. Where were the people checking this?? These were not guide dogs or therapy dogs. These dogs were trying to get food off a gentleman's lap who was in a wheelchair lap. There were dogs fighting I almost got bit twice just walking. And I left earlier then I would have because of it!! Don't get me wrong I love dogs but well behaved dogs. Please if your posting signs enforced them too many children and adults shouldn't have to worry about...
Read moreThis is a very small boardwalk, but it's a nice peaceful little place. You can walk along the boardwalk or go down to where people have their boats stored and just look at fun and unique boats. There is shopping and food and a fountain. They have also installed a few beautiful art installations for photos ops, or just your viewing pleasure. If you stand on the docks you can see lots of wild life in the water. We saw various fish, birds and a sea lion type animal. The birds can be gross with their potty and will potty on you, so be weary...
Read moreWe went for the Blackberry Festival and happened across an art festival as well! It was a good, bright, sunny day. The wind is strong down here so I would suggest bringing a lite jacket for this time of year (early September). Its also on a steep incline so wear comfortable shoes and clothes if you plan on walking a lot. But it was clean and quaint.
