HORRIBLE! walked in and the place had about 5 other couples eating. There was 5 of us, took about 20 minutes to get our food which wasn't too bad. Went to the restroom while I was waiting and the womens restroom was BEHIND the door to get to the restrooms so it was awkward. The doors to the actual stall hit the toilet and you had to squeeze through to get into it. Bathroom stunk horribly of roach spray which I noticed in the lobby after I was done. I turned the hot water on to scrub my hands and I was scalded. It was so hot it left a red mark on my hand but thankfully did not blister. I ordered the deluxe seafood platter and one of my shrimp was fully battered, tail and all so since I didn't see the tail under the batter, I crunched on it. Yuck. My crab came in a little crab shell that appeared to be real with it's eyes and all. The meat surprise inside of it had to of been imitation and not real. I know the difference, although I like the taste of both, real or not. But this crab tasted kind of old, and the shell it was in cracked and fell apart when I tried to scrape it out. I was told they probably weren't oil good enough before they were baked and that's why the stuffing and meat was stuck to the shell. As far as the actual establishment, TEAR IT DOWN! There is mold on every panel in the ceiling, the place was dirty. I saw one couple leave, and another come in sit down a bit later not knowing that the table had not been wiped since the last guests were there. Our booth physically came apart and my husband bumped his leg very hard on it. The sauces were great, but the food was mediocre at best and NOONE smiled or was friendly in the whole place. I am willing to place a bet that the cashier NEVER smiles as if she is scared of wrinkles by doing so. I faced the kitchen and there was not one happy employee. I do not recommend this place to anyone and I don't think I will ever return. The fish fillets at McDonalds beat anything on Captain D's Menu. Don't waste your time or money by eating here. It's not...
Read moreDecided to stop by this location for lunch like I've always done and order a kids meal popcorn shrimp. I normally check my order before I leave the window but this time I didn't,and boy was I disappointed when I got to work and opened my box up. The shrimp wasn't even popcorn shrimp it was some kind of shrimp however whatever breading was on the shrimp wasn't done all the way nor was the shrimp. So I call and ask to speak to a manager and the female that answer said my name is Jamie I am the assistant manager how can I hope you. So I tell her my issue and ask can I bring the food back and get what I order and to make sure it's all the way done this time. Jamie tells me NO I have to wait till the GM Keisha comes in tomorrow to either get my food replaced or get my refund. So I asked Jamie I literally have to keep the food till tomorrow until I talk to the GM Keisha she said yes I only take the customer complaints. So I asked the same question to make sure I was understanding her at that point her tone of her voice changed she got very rude and I had to tell her that I am a manager at my job and at one point was a assistant Manager like her and there is no way that she was made a assistant Manager and she can't make a decision to recook a customer's food that was incorrect in the first place and secondly the food wasn't all the way done. She just said I had to wait on the GM Keisha, I was upset so I hung up and called the Davis Highway location and spoke to the manager Vinny and told him my issue which he never heard that a assistant Manager can't make the decision to recook someone's food they would have to way on the GM.Vinny invited me into his location to correct my order and apologized for my inconvenience. I had to leave the Warrington area and go all the way to Davis Highway to get my order corrected as well as get GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM VINNY AND HIS STAFF!!! THE FAIRFIELD LOCATION WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN NOT EVEN TO...
Read moreHad a nightmare going through the drive thru. I watched cars pull up and order. We got to the speaker to order and no one took our order or would answer us. I called the restaurant right then and asked if the drive thru was working. The person answering said they have had problems (I did not see anyone else having problems ordering). They then took our order and my wife asked if she could get grilled chicken on her salad and the employee said yes. When we got the order, it was fried chicken and the coleslaw was forgotten. I took the order inside and was given the coleslaw, but the manager said they did not have grilled chicken. No big deal, things happen and mistakes are made. We left the restaurant and when I got home, I called the customer service number and they wanted my email, phone number and address. I told them I don't want anything, but to just inform the company of my experience (a head's up). I was told if I would not give them that info, I needed to call another number. They gave me the number and I called it and tried to tell them of my experience and was told if I wouldn't give them that same personal info, I needed to call another number. They gave me the number and as I hung up, I saw it was the first number I called. I called it and now my patience was done. I told them that I was a faithful customer with Captain D's and that all I wanted to do was report my experience. I told them I will give my name and now even my phone number, but I vowel to never eat at captain D's again. About six months later a person from their corporate called me and I told her of my experience. She did apologize and tell me the manager of that Captain D's would reach out to me. No one else has contacted me. I have since moved and have a different Captain D's a few blocks of my house. I do not go there. Captain D's took a bad experience and made it the...
