First time there and was so excited to try this place based on good reviews. My personal impression was definitely less than good. First, when you pull into the parking lot, there were pot holes as big as sink holes. Then I walked inside and the lady on left side of the counter was fiddling with some bags. No "hello", no "someone will be with you shortly", nothing! I just stood there being invisible. Later on, another lady came out from the back and helped me. Meanwhile, while I was standing there, I noticed a sign on the counter stating that a "surcharge" will be charge if I use my credit cards. Well, who doesn't these days?! This notice should have been well posted on their website so people can decide whether they want to "absorb" a business cost. Not after you have made the drive to the business and then learn of this trick. Frankly, that itself really turned me off. Although I do understand that everything is going up, this is a "business cost" to utilize credit card machines and should not have been passed down onto the customer. Then to add insult to injury as I was checking out on the electronic screen while I was paying for my "take out" sandwich, the last page asked if I wanted to tip. I'm thinking, "not no, but hell no!" The owner should remove stupid shenanigans like this to beg from customers. It's just plain rude. Since when should I start "tipping" for someone to make me a sandwich where I patronize?! Then to add more insult to injury, I ordered a sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread. Oooh, it was bad. It tasted REALLY old. I did realized that there's a crust to it and have eaten many before but this one was different. It was as flat, dry and hard as cardboard. Ok, I'm done. NEVER coming back to this...
Read moreWe decided to skip our original sandwich shop today and give this one a try based off of good reviews we had read in the past. Our first time here and excited to give it a try. we ordered 3 sandwiches, chips, drinks and a salad. We sat down and waited at a table for our order. There was only like 2 other people in the shop when we arrived but I had noticed that you can order online so I tried to be patient. A few more people walked in after us and ordered but dined in and got their food and even finished eating and we still had not gotten anything or even been acknowledged. 45 minutes and people walking out with there food who came in after us, tried to still be understanding thinking possibly online orders but they werent. We had to finally go to the counter and ask the girl and she says shes noticed us waiting. Typically you check on your customers or check in the with staff to see whats going on but she did none of that. She shuffled through the orders which looks like maybe our order was just put off to the side and never even made it to the kitchen. There was no apology and she handed it to the kitchen and I just asked them to not make the sandwiches and cancel the order. a man came out to void my card payment and just a "Sorry dont know what happened" is all we got". Unfortunately we will not be going back. I hate to leave bad reviews but ive worked in restaurants and understand when times get busy but they didn't really seem to care nor check on us as everyone else was coming in and...
Read moreHorrible Customer Service: Seems as if I'm not the only one who has experienced very deplorable customer service w/no apology... Unfortunately my experience was not the the best to say the least and the customer service was very disappointing. After placing an order for pickup, I proceeded to the restaurant as my order pickup time was 12:53pm. I walk in and the lady at the register tells me it would only be a few more minutes as my order wasn't ready yet. No problem, I'll wait. However, after standing around for a while. The lady at the counter proceeds to check an order that has already been sitting on the counter from the time I walked in. She asks me if my order could be under any other name and heads to the back to check on the order. As she's asking about my order the people in the back begin looking around (I guess trying to find my order) and upon find my online order, begins to read it out loud... The lady comes back to the front and tells me just a few more minutes. Ma'am at this point, although I don't believe it was intentional, my order was somehow skipped over in the midst of other orders. I get it. Things happen. However, when other orders were placed long after my online order and are being prepared and served and I'm still standing there... That's a problem. There was no apology for the wait and no immediate attempt to rectify the issue. I politely asked the lady at the front counter to kindly refund my money & left...
