My 9 month old, a friend and her 13 month old, and I all went to a playtime at the play house and ABSOLUTELY love it here! The owner, Mariah, is soooo sweet. The play area is super cute and it's influence on imaginative play alone were enough to make me want to come back but then you add the store front with toys, local small business products, and snacks in case you forgot to bring some (or you just want to treat yourself to a local home made baked good) and it just takes it over the top. We love it so much, we booked my son's birthday here in December within a week of our playdate and we are already looking forward to it. OH YEAH! AND THEY DO BIRTHDAYS GUYS! My family loves the Playhouse for birthday parties, shopping, open play and preschool play! My son and I especially look forward to preschool play every Thursday with Miss Sarah. Every week she comes up with a fun theme and plans activities around it. I appreciate how much thought she puts into the activities with sensory boxes, a playdough station, painting and more. She also reads a story and has a parachute for the kids to play with while they listen to an interactive song (my son’s favorite). They also include a snack for the kids and coffee for the adults (my favorite part). The space is always clean and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend this place, not only for a wonderful time with your child, but a time that your child can socialize, safely in a fun, interactive environment. The owner and staff are phenomenal. Kind, caring, and intentional in giving you the upmost playful experience. There is a wonderful toy store attached that is nostalgic to any old school toy store with an updated feel. A great selection as well as homemade play dough that is better than any store play dough. The effort that has been put into this place is comforting and just simply lovely. I hope anyone who reads this review will go experience this themselves.
