The Lounge on Oak offers a chill atmosphere with a clear distinction between its indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, a cozy bar and lounge area provides a perfect spot to unwind. Outside, high table seating allows for a more social vibe.

While the space seemed great, it wasn't very crowded during my visit. Unfortunately, that meant only one server was working, which led to a bit of a wait. It took over 25 minutes to get my food, and to make matters slightly more confusing, the server had to come back 10 minutes after I ordered to confirm my choices. Despite the wait, the server herself was friendly and attentive.

Now, onto the food! The fish tacos were a pleasant surprise. The fish portions were generous, even spilling over the tortillas a bit, and came with a bit of a kick. If you're not a fan of spicy food, be aware! On the other hand, the al pastor tacos were a great example of the classic dish. The meat was juicy, tender, and bursting with sweet, savory, and smoky notes. These were a standard size and very satisfying.

Because this place is beautiful and artsy.

It’s an entire vibe, being downtown parking can be a little tight so park where you can.

I had the chicken wings, very crunchy, a tad bit salty, but good. The chips and dip wasn't so appetizing, I guess I'm used to warmed chips.

It was a slow day so they closed early but all in all it was a good experience.

The hostess and guy bar tender with long hair(super cute) were both super friendly.

The kitchen and bathroom also was pretty clean - I love that! I mean who doesn't right ?!

And these drinks. These drinkssss .. I mean I could have used a little bit more tequila but it did the job!

If they had a better cook, this spot would be phenomenal!

All in all I have no regrets and I will be back for drinks only.
