Dunkin' — Restaurant in Brevard

I have never reviewed a Dunkin Donuts because they are usually all the same - you pretty much know what you're going to get regardless of location.

I usually order the same thing when I go to DD - a breakfast sandwich - and usually that sandwich comes out looking as if it survived an apocalypse, only to be revived, reheated, and still somehow still served cold and smashed. It's rare that I'll get food at Dunkin Donuts because of this.

We were camping nearby, had already packed up our things, and wanted to grab coffee - and since we were there - a quick breakfast. I don't know what's happening at thus Dunkin, but for the first time ever, our breakfast sandwiches came out looking like they belonged in a TV commercial. The eggs were fluffy, the meat looked like a plump juicy (edible) patty, and the bun was perfectly toasted. On top of this, the sandwiches arrived assembled not smashed and warm, not cold. Literally the first thing I said to my husband when I opened the sandwich wrapper was, "Does this sandwich look different to you?" To which he replied, "I was going to ask you the same thing."

So while I rarely see the need to review chain restaurants, I feel like this one deserves a special call-out. Thank you for serving me a sandwich that looks like a sandwich.

Placed an online order at 11:24, got there at 11:38 and the order was just starting to be prepared. Sat there for a good 4-5 min with 3 people working near the window and not a single one asked what or who I was picking up for or even offered a greeting. Finally someone did ask who I was picking up for and one of the girls said my name but like how would you have known that when you didn't acknowledge me for an upwards up 6 min. Watched one of them make my bfs hot coffee and I had to ask her to put a different lid on it bc she grabbed one from a stack that all syrups all over them. And on top of that my drink wasn't even filled up all the way like it usually is as spartanburg hwy location where I NEVER have an issue. Entered establishment to a store front entailing no staff. Good thing I wasn’t there to commit burglary! It would have been very easy to catch the two individuals in the back off guard. I had to wait at the counter for several minutes, before shouting three times, “Hello! Anyone here?” Finally, I was confronted with an annoyed staff member. I tried joking with her saying, “I was beginning to think no one was working here.” She obviously was not amused with my comment. Next, my friend and I ordered two SMALL drinks; one hot and one cold….we then received one small and one medium drink, both of which were COLD. I did not even ask for my order to be corrected, because I wasn’t even given the opportunity. The employee slid the drinks onto the counter and immediately walked away….
