McDonald's — Restaurant in Brevard

We live local to this location but we haven't stopped here since the remodel because service has ALWAYS been subpar and I was sure a remodel wasn't going to help that. Today, Monday, we stopped in at 11:54am (against my better judgement). I had noticed, on multiple trips driving by, that the drive thru always seems busy and now I know why.....the drive thru people get served but the customers inside are largely ignored. Today, there were very few people inside but the drive thru was fairly busy and not running very smoothly as determined by the number of cars that had to "pull forward" and wait for their order. We ordered one 2 cheeseburger meal & 2 apple pies. It took TEN MINUTES for us to get our order! I'd also like to point out that the place was filthy. EVERY table needed wiped off and ALL the trash cans were running over except one (although it wasn't even lunch rush yet) which makes the sign claiming "No beverage refills due to sanitation concerns" that much more of a joke. The sanitation issues here are much bigger than at the beverage station. By the way, that is NOT a company policy and we no longer support any McDonald's that does not have a beverage station. There are far better places to choose from with MUCH...

The general manager made me question mcdonlds competence when it comes to hiring people for such positions.. Never did I think that I would leave a mcdonalds review but this is necessary Went through the drive through this Easter morning with my son to get him and I each a mcmuffin, and 2 drinks, APPARENTLY the women on the speaker thought I said 8 egg mcmuffins, on top of my single one AND THEY CHARGED MY card $31 practically draining my account on easter, with my bank closed of course, so the refund cant come through today.. After realizing this I asked to speak to the manager, about comping the whole ticket because of their mistake really setting me back today on easter. apparently it was the "general manager" "Shirley Brown" she refused to comp me AT ALL and rudely defended her incompetent employees careless mistake that ruined my easter. I was polite through all this too, oh well. Summarized, don't pay with a card here, they cant handle it. PS: I've still yet to receive the refund on my card from...

The early morning crew have this place moving fast and serving the food up hot and fresh. Try the steak and egg mcmuffin with a freshly cooked hashbrown. We aren't talking healthy but it was quite delicious. And when served up by little sweet Wilma, a grandmother type or Shawn, who has never met a stranger, you know you are in small town Brevard where hospitality and kindness are instilled in the people from a young age. Maybe get a cup of coffee and join the over 60 aged folks if they are there and make new friends or just listen to their stories. I found they don't really care if you are young or old... all are welcome at this McDonalds. Some may say McDonald's is McDonald's but coming from a business travel person, that isn't true. Every McDonald's has its own unique personality. This one is welcoming, generally clean, well lit even in pre-dawn hours, and the folks behind the counter make it even more inviting...
