Bayzo's Pub — Restaurant in Brewster

It was a pleasure to share my girlfriend’s birthday here a couple months ago. The food, service and atmosphere really were top notch. That was the first time we stayed at Ocean’s Edge. The experience at Bayzou’s Pub was the driving force for us to return for a second time this past weekend. Like clockwork, Bayzou’s delivered and put a cherry on top to our weekend getaway to the cape.

Huge shoutout to Erik. Admittedly, despite him telling me I forget if it is “with a c” or “with a k”. Regardless of this, his service is exceptional. He truly delivers an elevated, enjoyable dining experience and is a true professional in his craft. Make sure to try his old fashioned and his espresso martini you will not regret it.

Thank you Erik for giving my girlfriend and I a place that we now plan on retreating to regularly when we have the time off to do so. Bayzou’s is AWESOME!

also want to note they are handicap and wheelchair accessible even at the bar where we had a member of our party who was disabled and in a wheelchair and the staff was extremely accommodating thank you so...

If you took the bar from the movie "Inglorious Basterds" but spiced it up a bit with Cape Cod charm and luxury, you get Bayzo's Pub. Great food, great service, and the atmosphere is beyond words. Old fashioned yet up to date. I even asked to see the manager Mr. Cross so I could compliment him on the amazing restaurant he runs. Mr. Cross recomended a great cocktail called the "Transfusion" and it was very tasty and enjoyable. Also special shout out to Victoria for being a great waitress. I had the wings which were so tender and juicy with a side of fresh broccoli and mouth watering fries. They have plenty of high chairs, my daughter was very well accomodated. And you could practically eat off of the floor in this restaurant. This wasn't the first time we have been here and for sure will not be the last....

Sweet & Heat Burger.. sounds good on paper, but execution is a different matter. 1st problem is a frozen patty (not fresh meat). 2nd there was supposed to be crispy jalapenos on the burger, but instead they substituted it for green bell pepper. Not a good move both from a flavor point or a "Heat" point. For a burger north of $15, I would be ashamed to serve this to the public.

As for service, it was not existent. It took the waitress over 10 minutes to take our drink order. Another 15 minutes to take our food order, then we didn't see her again until she brought us the bill.

I would certainly expect a higher standard on this property, but had a similar experience out at the bar by the bay (same property). Next time I'm in town I doubt I'll be staying at...
