Foodies here and we are thrilled to have Ukiyo as part of Brewster’s dining scene! Firstly, they are a Japanese-inspired restaurant serving many well-known Japanese dishes with a twist. While it’s (of course) not fully ‘authentic’, it manages to hit the right notes. We had the Spring Rolls, Katsudon and the Shoyu Ramen. They were all delicious! The Katsudon had a crispy, panko crusted pork chop served atop a wonderful egg scramble on rice, smothered in a light brown gravy. While I thought the grave could have used more salt, I think perhaps it’s just a personal preference and really, who needs more sodium in their diet! The Shoyu Ramen was fantastic. Nice springy noodles submerged in a rich soy-infused chicken broth, served with Chashu and a lovely soy egg done just right. Spring rolls were tasty, bite-sized morsels served with a truffle duck sauce. I highly recommend trying Ukiyo for something different and refreshing! They’re not open past 6pm but you can always get it to go! Looking forward to having more happy...
Read moreMiso ramen was phenomenal. I will dream about that broth. The mushroom and leek spring rolls were also really good — very flavorful. Sushi rice and seaweed salad was a big hit with our group, too. Cold tuna bowl was perfect — texture, flavor were spot on. Chicken katsu was crispy and delicious. Honestly, everything was stellar. We’re lucky to have this place on the lower Cape. (Staff were amazing, too. And the chef was awesome and our food was not only really tasty but beautiful as well.)
Update: 10/12/25 — ordered take out for a late lunch — Miso-Tare ramen, shumai, and the tempura broccoli rice bowl. Sooo good! Still highly...

Ukiyo in Brewster is a total gem. It’s more of a pickup spot than a full sit-down restaurant, but the atmosphere is really cool—modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed.
I tried the miso ramen and it was seriously delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, not too salty. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings—especially the chicken karaage —was top-notch.
Even though it's a takeout-focused place, it still feels special. You can tell everything is made with care. If you're anywhere near Brewster and craving ramen, this is 100% worth the...
