Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Brewton

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but my experience at this location last was ridiculous! I stopped by the Brewton location on 8/2/2024 heading home from work. The doors were locked and it was drive through only. There was 1 car ahead of me and I sat there in that drive thru line for 20 minutes waiting to get to the speaker, FINALLY got to the speaker and sat there ANOTHER 20-30 minutes waiting for someone to come on the speaker to take my order with me saying hello incase they didn’t hear me pull up. There was a line of cars behind me. After waiting that long I decided to just leave because I was just ready to get home. When I drove around the side of the building I was expecting to see a line of cars at the window BUT there WASNT!!! No one was at the window! When I drove by the window I looked in and the employees were standing in there talking!!!! This is completely unacceptable! Seems like management needs to find them some employees that actually want to do...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, terrible food. The okra tasted like it had been sitting out for days. Dry crusty, cold and burnt. The order was completely wrong, I ordered jalapeño poppers and got mashed potatoes and gravy. Chicken was the only thing that was cooked correctly, when I got home a checked the order o was in shock, there was also some weird foreign object fried in the food, no idea what it is. Kinda worried this place is unsanitary. Biscuits were hard and hours old. Please save your money and do not go here. They always take 30 minutes just to give you the order and it is always this way. Constant failure every time I try and think it’s going to be better. It gets even worse each time I go. No love and appreciation for food at this place. I tried calling the restaurant when I got home to get it fixed since I live 30 minutes from this place, you can’t ever get anyone on the phone. Will not be...

Horrible. The person who took our order apologized at least 20 times just taking our order. She then couldn't remember what our order was and only gave us a few pieces of chicken, some biscuits and apple pies from our family order. Our sides were thrown in the bags and spilled everywhere, and instead of the three separate sides we ordered, it was two of one of the sides we ordered and another one, with the third kind missing completely. The kicker was that when he ordered a half gallon of sweet tea, they didnt tell him they were out of those in containers. Instead they filled up three large cups and handed us two cups with ice... of course no straws and the tea was slightly tea flavored water with maybe a hint of sweet...

Dont try to call and talk to someone about the issues you have either. This is one if those companies that leaves their phone off the hook...
