Huddle House — Restaurant in Brewton

This was my very first time going into the huddle House and I must say I was impressed. As understaffed as they are they did it unprecedented job in fulfilling all orders. I was astonished food was spectacular I will be going back as soon as I get a chance. They greeted customers that they knew on a regular basis they were polite and courteous. And for me being a foodie goes very far. Didn't have to wait long for food to arrive I don't have any photographs this time but I will post some the next time I stop by. But I will tell you it was wonderful.

The reason for the four-star review was that they were so badly understaffed and I don't blame management I don't blame huddle House I blame the fact that people have been sitting around for too long with their hands out expecting things for free I blame that. Once I get properly staffed and they're not work to the Bone I'll bump it up to a five star I want to see them at their best working as a well-oiled machine. Not frazzled and eager to go home because they can't push any harder.

I do however recommend huddle House for whatever meal you'd want to stop by for excellent place very homey a wonderful place to sit down have a cup of coffee start a conversation or...

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I called in to place an order for pick up in the first time they did not answer. The second time they answered, but proceeded to talk to each other rather than take my order. When they finally acknowledged me, I started telling the lady what I would like to eat and she wouldn’t say anything back so I asked her if she was still there , and all she said was I didn’t hear you. I had to keep repeating myself, so I finally let her know I don’t know if she can hear me or if they’re just plain not listening ( because I could hear conversations going on about who’s going to wash the dishes ) but I would like to place an order. She very rudely asked well what do you want. At this point I told her to not even worry about it and asked for het name so I could let their management know how they treat their customers. Instead of giving me a name she started telling one of her coworkers that rather than giving them my order I was talking to my kids which simply isn’t true. I asked several more times for a name and was ignored for the rest of the call. I do NOT recommend anybody eat at this location because their customer service is awful and they should be...

As someone who’s out late a lot, there’s not a lot of food options for us on the night schedule. Usually love this huddle house- during the day. But whoever was working the early morning of March 31 really just ruined my day lol like who even does this? What you’re looking at is burnt melted styrofoam in my food. I ordered a ham and egg dish and an order of muffin bites. They decided to not make my order that I placed until I got all the way to the restaurant (20 minute drive) for some reason, I guess laziness, so I had to wait 15 extra minutes once there and just wanted to go home. Mind you, there are only two other diners. Then they had the bright idea of putting 15 burnt and extremely hot muffin bites (that’s supposed to only be an 8-count and also have powdered sugar and whipped topping but at this point who even cares, they’re unedible anyway.) straight into a styrofoam tray, no paper or anything to separate it. They completely melted through the styrofoam and into the top of the next tray in the bag, my dinner. Yum! Thanks so much...
