Update: **New Owners.** Yesterday sadly was the last time I’ll be taking my daughter for our pizza dates to this pizza place. As a long time customer I could see the quality of the pizza changed and of course I can taste it. So much seasoning! Pepperoni was not the same. I got my husband a buffalo chicken slice, but there’s no chicken. The crust is definitely not the same!! My favorite part 😢 Super upset! It took us a while to find this place and now it’s over. If new owners are reading this please go back to the original ingredients. The new atmosphere is nice, but the pizza and food is what’s going to keep people around. I’m keeping the photos of the original owners food here so you can see the difference. Best of luck! BEST pizza!! We’re so thankful this pizzeria is here. The dough is outstanding and you can feel and taste that. Aside from the pizza I’d recommend the calzone. You’re welcome! My husband lately is obsessed with their California cheesesteak with mayo, oil & vinegar. Delicious! We love you guys and appreciate you and the food you make. Don’t leave!! Thank you šŸ™šŸ¼ šŸ•

Not the same J&G. I’ve patronized J&G for almost 7 years. I moved away from Brick about a year ago and just so happened to be in town. I was so excited to grab a pizza from my favorite pizza spot. They have a new owner. I was given a burnt pizza. I tried the pizza just to see if it tasted better than it looked. It did not. I brought the pizza back in and was told that I should have asked for a light pizza? After about 3 people touched and examined the pizza, I was handed the pizza box back. They refused to give a refund or remake the pizza. The owner was very nasty. I’m certain he will not last. I guess nothing good last forever. I will never return. The previous owner was so nice and food was always delicious.

Amazing Pizza and Great Service! J&G Pizza never disappoints! I recently tried their Sesame Sweet & Spicy Chili Chicken Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors, with tender chicken and a crispy, perfectly baked crust. Every bite was bursting with flavor! The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a pizza lover or looking to try something unique, I highly recommend J&G Pizza. Can’t wait to come back and try more! #brick #nj

There's new owners there the new owner was prepping the new guy that owned it new guy that owns it is Indian so there's Indians and there's Mexican people working here doesn't matter who you are but it's Italian restaurant of North Jersey everybody's Italian it works in there he taught him how to make the pies the right way so you're burning the pizza and you're in your and you're cutting down on the better quality moves it out keep it the same or change the name and their prices went up and everything made us cuz you had to remodel a little bit but not that much you could go to Oakwood in Point Pleasant or you could go to broccoli that's better and the pizza is cheaper Oakwood you could get two slices it doesn't matter what type of slice it is and it's 750 the price never changes the same it used to be the best pizza even their appetizers like the french fries went up chicken fingers and french fries used to be like 11 it's like $15 for chicken fingers and french fries that's ridiculous it should not be that much money eventually people going to catch on and it's not going to work out even the the two young girls that used to be in there they're not there no more have conversations with them about everything that was fun to go in there and they knew who you were and they had conversations about things and know who you are and you didn't have to wait as long the one girl that was here for over 20 years he didn't want to pay her more money so she left so that goes to show you now not going to really work out that well for you trust me continue to burn pizza and charge $3 or $4 more...

We’ve been regulars at J&G Pizzeria ever since Brick Twp. used eminent domain to close Parkway Pizza, but something has clearly changed in the last few months and not for the better.

Two separate incidents in our family, two days apart, both after eating meat items here, led to sudden, severe GI illness. My dad got sick after a sausage parm (sudden nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea). Two days later, I had a pepperoni slice; about an hour afterward I had the same intense symptoms. I was the only one out of nine people who ate pepperoni, and the only one who got sick, which makes me think the meat items are not being properly handled.

Beyond that, over the last couple of months, the food itself isn’t the same as what we’ve enjoyed since going to J&G when Parkway Pizza was forced to close. The recipes/prep seem different, and the overall quality has dropped. We also haven’t seen the owner in a while and noticed the entire staff appears new. I can’t say what changed behind the scenes, but from our perspective it feels like there’s been a turnover and that food preparation and storage standards may have slipped.

This is just our experience, but two ā€œfood poisoning–likeā€ episodes in a week is enough for us to step away. I hope management takes a hard look at meat sourcing, cold-holding temps, and handling practices. For now, we’ll be trying...

Recently went to see if it improved. It's about the same as in ember above average slice. The inside is a lot nicer than it used to be. I enjoyed the slice, brought back some memories.

No clue how they stayed open for so long, because the owner Mike (not Big Mike, the manager/pizza maker) was a truly unpleasant little guy. The owner has another place on mantaloking. 14 years ago, I worked for him. He was rude to me and did not give me the eating privileges he gave other drivers. The main guy Big Mike who runs it, drives a motorcycle, is a great dude. He's in there making the pizzas and managing the store. He treated the workers with respect. But his cousin, who owns that place and whatever the one on mantaloking road in brick is called, a true jerk. He called me a fairy and fired me bc I forget to turn my light on that was on the top of my car. He cursed me out called a fairy and said I float around and fired me while screaming at me in front of everyone. He silently paid me and I left feeling humiliated. Hey, old boss. Hope you have the day, months, and years you deserve as the person you are. Props to the other guy though and...
