First off to any newer customers; the guy (Nick) that everyone thought was the Gordon Ramsay of Italian food; WRONG. He was an arrogant, nasty, bossy, loud PITA. His failure rate was 100% if you asked for a slice to just barely be warm, like I do. Those instructions get totally disregarded. Not only did he fail to follow instructions but you can guarantee that the slice comes out with the heat & sloppiness of molten lava. So hot one time I took the tiniest bite in my car & scorched my tongue that I threw the pizza out the window at the intersection by 7-11. Plus when you're the only one in there he stares at you, nodding towards me but talking Italian a mile a minute to his right hand man. Super obvious & rude. It was Nick's way or the highway. Loud & obnoxious.
Now the new owners are a joy to interact with & the food is great! They pay attention to detail when you ask something as basic as "Just a tiny bit warm for my slice please." I almost slipped up & told them thank god they took over because the last owner was a J.O. But before I did I was told they are related so I just left it alone.
This restaurant is 1000x better without loud, grumpy, obnoxious, doesn't follow any instructions Nick. I highly recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNickolas Pizza-what can I say about you! Oh my! Chicken Francaise over linguine-WOW! So very good! So, there is no delivery which kinda stinks but the food we have had so far has been quite delicious. My hubby has had Linguine with garlic and oil and asked for shrimp to be added. They gave him large grilled shrimp. Yummo! The dinner portions are fair, not huge but enough for me. They could be a bit bigger for a working man. But delicious-yes. We also get cannolis, which are sweet and creamy and freshly made, but dont taste exactly like cannolis should taste-but still a good dessert. And the shells are crispy and fresh every time. So as we order more types of meals I will update this review. Also I will take a ride by and snap a pic for you all, and get an idea of the accommodations for the disabled....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food here is truly exceptional ā authentic Italian cooking that shines through in every bite. My go-to is the Margherita pizza: the sauce is light yet full of flavor, the basil is always fresh, and the homemade mozzarella is nothing short of amazing. Their mozzarella, in fact, could be a reason on its own to visit ā itās unlike anything youāll come across in an ordinary pizza place.
What really makes Nickolas Pizzeria stand out, though, is not just the quality of the food but the warmth and friendliness of the people who run it. Itās rare to experience such a perfect balance of genuine hospitality and authentic flavor. Whether youāre from the area or just stopping by, this is absolutely a place worth visiting for anyone who appreciates true Italian pizza.
ā Highly...
