Captain's Pizza House Restaurant — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Owner needs to change where they add their own tips into the bill. Tips should be based off service. I always leave a tip but never told the amount I have to pay. I've been to more high class places then this and they don't push a tip down your throat on the check. Went to put a tip on the table and waitress says not to cause they added 15 percent tip into the bill. Customers shouldnt be forced to pay a certain amount for a tip. I understand Some people are cheap and wont tip but also some people dont have it like that to pay a certain tip you've gotta realize the city you are in and not give people a extra surprise in their bill and assume people know "tip will be in the bill because it says it on the menu" when I look at the menu I want to know what am I going to eat not that a tip will be on the bill. Very unclassy. Also food was alittle greasy and I'd compare it to little Cesar's. I was trying to upload a photo but no option to. The service was not all that either. I went in at the bed of the night so I'm sure everyone was tired but the waitress sat us down and asks us from the register if we want menus. Obviously we want to see what we are ordering. 1st time I visited I originally ordered 1 pepperoni pizza 2 orders of chicken wings (7piece)3 cans soda $74.00 when I question why it was so much the guy had an attitude with me and addressed me in a way that was not professional For the price that they are charging for pizza, it should taste much better. My niece said that it’s to much cheese and for an 9year old to say it to much well you decide. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I started out my order by first asking if they made calzones WITHOUT ricotta cheese he said yes. Repeated my order back to me “2 sausage calzones 1 bacon no ricotta cheese” when I got my order they all had ricotta. I called back & very politely said “hey I ordered 3 calzones without ricotta they all have it.” He yelled to someone in the background saying “the 3 calzones weren’t supposed to have ricotta!” A different man got on the phone and said that’s not what you said! I said “sir I know what I said you’re the 3rd pizza place I called asking the same question, plus you repeated the order back to me.
