King's Wok Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bridgeport

So far, so good. I'm very hesitant with Chinese restaurants. I've been sick twice in the past and it's something you can't forget. But I was in need of some white rice and it's so good and soft the way they make it. I got a large size and also a side of dumplings. The dumplings were really good. I always love the sauce. I need a container of that stuff. They were fried perfectly, the dough was a good consistency, the filling flavourful. I'm using the rice to make my own little sushi wraps later, the rice was soft and sticky, just like what i wanted. The lady at the register was nice, took my order with no problems. They have tap-to-pay also, which was a plus. Sign said minimum seven bucks to use card. The interior is I guess what you'd expect. Not the best, but not the worst I've seen. Street parking was easy for me today, mid-afternoon in a Saturday....

BEWARE! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CANCEL YOUR ORDER!!! Placed an order for delivery which was supposed to arrive within 35 minutes but 30 minutes AFTER I placed the order, I received a text message stating that my order was cancelled. Called the restaurant to see what was happening and was told that my card had declined on their end BUT I have a valid charge WITHDRAWN from my account for that order. Spoke with a rep who said they will “REFUND MY MONEY WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS” but they can deliver my food if I pay cash. If the card declined, why am I getting a REFUND??? I ordered the sweet and sour chicken w/fried rice and their steamed dumplings. This is my first BAD experience with chinese food ever mind you im 24!! the dumplings were so soggy they fell aprt and stuck together not to mention full of oil/fat with some weird mysterious meat i couldn't tell if it was beef or pork because the texture was so weird, the rice lacked a lot of flavor and has a greasy texture and the chicken was pretty decent but not something id crave, the only good part of this meal was the egg roll and soy sauce. In conclusion i would not order from here ever again I would instead recommend kitchen number 1 they never...
