It was my first time at the iconic Twin Oaks. It did not disappoint. The bathroom was immaculately clean! Even the stainless toilet paper holder and door handle were spotless... When we arrived, we were told to sit "on either side" wherever we wanted. The left side was full, so we found a "cubby" area that felt private. They play music and because it is carpeted, uses cloth table covers, and has lots of trim details on the walls and room dviders, there isn'tan annoying echo... We did wait for seeeeeeral minutes before our waitress acknowledged us, but she was friendly and on it onc she made it to us... We tried spaghetti, raviolis, and rigatoni... They each came with a side salad (add the cheese!) and itlian bread with butter. I thought the sauce was perfect, but my sister thought it was "bland." She added salt and liked it better. I also posted pics of their drink prices - very reasonable compared to other dine-in restaurants in the area :) I am a fan of cheap drinks!

Atmosphere-4 stars- Felt like I went back in time. Very nostalgic. Local Italian restaurant locked in the 60s-70s. Very clean and in great condition. This place has been here since 1957. Only down side was the parking lot- very little room from the main busy road so it can be difficult to back out. Service- 4 stars- friendly staff. Had a good server who was very attentive. Food- 4 stars- We had two pizzas (one cheese and the other pepperoni, sausage and mixed peppers) very good pizza and I love that they used crumbled sausage instead of the chunks of sausage. Also had two house salads with house dressing. Dressing is very good. Also got the cheese sticks and a side of meatballs. Loved the sauce and meatballs. Would come back and try one of their pasta dishes next time. Only negative thing was their iced tea (instant) a restaurant of this caliber should have fresh brewed tea.

Wow!! My family and I have been coming here for years, every time we visit Clarksburg. Beautifully remodeled establishment. And such wonderful service. They work as a team and it shows in the service! Emily Miller did a wonderful job keeping our drinks filled and bringing our food out fresh! Our salad was amazing. The fresh crispy lettuce complimented with perfectly ripe seasoned tomatoes went so well with the almost drinkable house dressing. (Yes the dressing is that good!) I just wish the large was never ending. Our steak hoagie was a delectable bit of heaven with every bite. The steak was cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of mixed peppers combined with the cheese and a slice of tomato that gave each bite a compliment! 😋 Overall, we once again throughly enjoyed our dining experience! We will be back on our way through again! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Twin Oaks Restaurant!!!

Was there today for the first time and was not impressed at all!! We got the chicken tenders as the appetizer which tasted like Burger King chicken tenders no difference, then the ranch literally had no taste at all almost tasted like a Mayo not really sure what was going on there then the actual food comes out I got the lasagna it was Grandma l's lasagna Grandma needs to learn to season something because it had no taste no flavor at all! And then my boyfriend got the shrimp dinner which came with a whopping five pieces of deep fried shrimp and fries that had been soaking in grease for days it seemed like he was also thrown a couple scraggles of onion rings on his plate that he didn't even order the only thing that was good in that restaurant was the sweet tea. Then we go up front to pay and they asked how it was and I replied not good told them everything that was wrong my concerns there wasn't even an apology they just took the money and put their nose up like most bitchport I mean bridgeport people would do will not be back to this establishment they just need...

I don't even know if I could give this place one star, because we were not even allowed in the door. I recently was in Bridgeport for a volleyball tournament. There were 17 of us in our dining party and when our coach called Twin Oaks to see if they could accommodate us, she was told in no uncertain terms: "We don't want you here". Not "sorry, we can't accommodate a party that size" or "could you possibly break up into a few smaller parties". The person who answered the phone that night (Friday, October 4 around 6:00 p.m.) flat out told her "We don't want you here". So I'd love to say that Twin Oaks was a great restaurant with great service, but since they didn't want us there, they lost well over $500 in sales, as well as a great tip. Oliverio's ended up getting our business, our appreciation and a nice, fat tip to boot!!

By the way, not only did I leave this review here, but I also blogged about it....
