Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Bridgeport

It was around 5:00 pm on 7/26/25 my husband and I walked in , there were only 2 people working. The hostess didn't seem to be all there mentally. It took 20 mins to get our diet Pepsi. She kept apologizing about getting items out to us. Other customers were getting agitated due to no service. A party of 8 or 10 walked out. That party was there before we were. Another party went up to get menu's and asked when they could get their drinks. Finally our drinks came in a paper cup, due to dirty glasses and they needed washed. Our pan pizza came in an hour, with hard/ cold breadsticks. The pizza was barely warm. Hardly any pepperoni on it. Our table was sticky so, while we waited I went to the bathroom and there was paper towels in the sink. I grabbed some clean ones and got them wet so, I could clean our table off. The hostess girl was very apologetic and said multiple times the food is coming. I'm so sorry ! The little guy in the back was trying to fix food, wash dishes, carry out food as well. Besides having all kinds of people not happy. At approximately 6:40 pm a third person came. Leaving those 2 young kids/ adults all by themselves. We also got a med. Cheese pizza hand tossed to go. We waited another 30 mins. Just to get the to go order. Very poor management. Where was the manager at ? How come those 2 were left to fend for themselves? On weekends they should've had more people working. I felt sorry for the 2 that were by themselves. This isn't the first time this has happened. I will never go there again. I DO NOT recommend the Pizza Hut in Bridgeport WV, I was there at 12:30 pm today. They do not even deserve 1 star from me. I walked in with my grand baby, there was a girl ringing out a customer, 1 girl just walking around, there was a total of 3 tables with customers, so yeah not busy. We were told by the one employee that was walking around that the girl at register would get us in a moment. We stood there for 5 minutes, then the girl that was walking around finally came to us, I thought she was going to seat us, here she just took our drink orders and ask us if we was ready to order, mind u we still wasn’t seated yet. Then we did get seated, she brought out drinks and said “U can help yourself to buffet”, well I didn’t say I wanted buffet, but anyways I figured heck it’s quick we will go ahead and have it, we’ll needless to say we didn’t get to eat, the salad bar was disgusting, the lettuce was brown, the eggs was frozen, cheese dried out, etc., we walk to hot bar, there’s no breadsticks, 2 hard Cinnamon Sticks, dried up pasta, 2 pizzas that was dry and only had about 2 pieces on each pan. No silverware on tables or sitting on buffet, containers were empty. This is the second time in a month I have been at that located and it down right sucks. I worked at Pizza Hut in Kingwood WV, I think who ever owns this Pizza Hut in Bridgeport that their employees and themself need to travel to Kingwood and see how a Pizza Hut is actually ran. Will not return to the Pizza Hut in Bridgeport WV....

I dined in with my son yesterday around 430pm. It was not busy at all. I think there was maybe 1 table and very few people picking up carry out orders. We should have left as soon as we got there, because the restaurant was filthy.... but we didn't. (My fault) The waitress took our order. Breadsticks, boneless wings, fries, Buffalo chicken sandwich with fries & a pizza to go. It took about 20 minutes before we got our breadsticks. Another 10 to 15 minutes before my son got his meal (boneless wings & fries) The server came to check on us & I told her that I still had not received my meal. She said it was coming. I waited a very long time.. My son was finished eating... waited even longer until I finally had to go up to the register to tell the server I had to go & that I no longer wanted my food, or the pizza I ordered to go. She then proceeded to tell me that it was coming. I once again told her I had to go. She said that they had so many to go orders. It didn't seem like they were busy. Plus if that was the case why was my son's meal delivered & not mine?
