I agree with some of the other reviews, since the new ownership took over it definitely hasn’t been the same, but they are improving! I haven’t ordered from there in years due to the taste of their donuts when they switched owners, Whoever they have doing it now is back on track. We are local yocals and we get donuts from here, as well as their top 2 competitors, at least once a month, switching between the 3 spots.
The Sweets: Delicious donuts and they have a good variety. We usually get something cream or fruit filled, I love cheese and danish put together, and my mom loves their cinnamon raisin buns. You can buy them in a six pack.
The Store: It looks exactly the same as it did when I was a kid. They have changed absolutely nothing in the store, you can tell it’s old school and has been there for a while. Which is cool. Also, they are open more days and later than the other two previously mentioned bakeries. Super convenient!
The Service: Now the service is something to be desired. The older woman who waited on us yesterday, and the one young girl who work in there are just blah. I honestly feel like we’re bothering them, I feel like they don’t wanna answer questions when I ask them, “What’s in that one?” They have slight attitudes like they’re too busy to wait on you, but if they don’t wait on you, then they’re not gonna make money and the place isn’t gonna stay open soooooo, I don’t know where that comes from. Especially when their competitors are the Amish Market in Hopewell and another family owned bakery that’s been there here forever, Century Bakery… both places...
Read moreMy grandparents ordered me a wedding cake from here for yesterday. We had to call numerous times over 3 days to ask what the price was since it wasn't given at time of order. We let it go and the time comes and me and my mom go to get the cake. We showed up and it wasn't at all how it was ordered. A cake was chosen out of their catalog and only 2 specifications were changed, the COLOR of the flowers and making it 2 teirs not 3. This seemed simple and we trusted them to make my special day good. The cake wasn't anything like we talked about and after an hour into the wedding the flowers on the cake were literally JUMPING off the cake!! Unacceptable for the price paid. We let them know while picking it up that it wasn't right and the workers just stood there and stared at us like they didn't know what to do. Being on a time crunch and due to lack of customer service we had to use the cake we were given but are very UNSATISFIED and WILL NOT BE RETURNING! Cake quality was that of a birthday cake at Walmart. Just go there.Only thing good was it...
Read moreTerrigno's Bakery has been a staple in Bridgeton, New Jersey for over 50 years, and it's no wonder why. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they're always happy to answer any questions you have about their products. The baked goods at Terrigno's are always fresh and delicious. I've tried everything from their cakes and pies to their cookies and bread, and I've never been disappointed. Their bread is especially noteworthy – it's so soft and flavorful that I now use it as my go-to sandwich bread. One of the things I love most about Terrigno's is that there's always something new to try. They constantly rotate their selection of pastries and breads, so you're never sure what you'll find. This keeps things interesting and makes me want to come back for more every time. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Italian bakery experience, I highly recommend Terrigno's Bakery. It's a true Bridgeton gem that you're...
