I bought the Rocket Espresso Cinquantotto from Majesty Coffee. It was a positive experience. I chatted with a person there on line who was very fast to answer and had good information. I ordered the Rocket from them. They had the best price I could find. The were proactive and emailed me that it could not ship right away, which I knew from the person I chatted with. It shipped the day they said it would ship. Fedex held on to it in my town for a few days, but Fedex should be on a different review (they were looking more like a storage company then a shipping company). The only odd thing is that Majesty asked me to do what is in the quotes below There really was not a delivery slip for me to write anything so I just wrote where I was supposed to sign that there was damage on the outside of the packing box box, and took a picture of what I wrote and of the packing box before unpacking the Rocket. Although weird to include these instructions on the email, I don't fault Majesty Coffee. It's probably some lessons learned that they have gone through with Fedex. I certainly have my own lessons learned from dealing with Fedex (very painful lessons learned). In any case Majesty Coffee had the best price, was super quick in responding to me with correct information, was proactive, and did everything they said they were going to. I would buy from them again.

Read moreLever Espresso. The La Pavoni Esperto Abile
The LP Esperto Abile was ordered on 02/02/2021, shipment was delayed likely to COVID19 related manufacturing and shipping issues, and arrived safely intact to me on 03/10/2021. With inspection all was satisfactory. Thank you Majesty Coffee.
The Esperto was preped for use on 03/18/2021. Even after following the LP manual recommendations for boiler cleaning, it was still necessary to reclean the boiler three more times to eliminate the manufacturing residue metallic taste. After the final cleaning and final refilling with BWT cation resin exchange treated water with a clean, clear taste was delivered through the group head.
Then the process of dialing in my grinder and finding the appropriate fine grind level began. After several attempts at dialing in the grinder, an appropriately fine grind level was achieved, after which the learning process of "pulling" a decent shot began.
Understanding that this is an analog machine requiring much more user input compared to an E61 semi-automatic espresso machine, there was a fair bit of experimentation needed to learn how to use the lever for decent espressos. Over time, and paying attention to brew head temperatures, my shots have gradually been improving and have transitioned from "drinkable" to actually quite good, satisfying even.
The Esperto, probably like most manual lever La Pavonis, is an engaging machine requiring acceptance of patience in the learning curve. The result, as skill levels rise, is simply great tasting espresso with the satisfaction of having done it yourself. So, in conclusion, I'm enjoying my La Pavoni learning adventure and the enjoyable proof is in the cup.
Just understand that an LP takes work to learn, but the effort is worth it. Consider it a fun fundamental example of the analog 1950-1960's meeting the current digital age, and analog wins, delivering wide smiles in the...
Read moreI researched buying some top notch espresso equipment for two years and after much thought and consideration I chose Majesty Coffee. They provided really good information and great service, and kept in contact with me until I received my order. I am really happy with my 3 purchases and my choice to support Majesty Coffee.
1 Victoria Arduino E1 Prima Single Group Espresso Machine The best espresso machine I’ve ever had I absolutely love this machine everything about it. It is a complicated technical as I could want it to be and also as simple as pushing a button. I can’t say enough good things about it. Thank have pulled hundreds of shots by now and no complaints. A few quirks to figure out but really no issues it is a reliable and sexy powerhouse. I will probably get a second one I love it that much. I have had it for seven months of regular use feel very good about my purchase
2: . Mahlkonig E65S GBW Espresso Grinder Definitely the best espresso grinder I own am very satisfied with his machine, it is a very well executed product. I own 3 other Mahlkonig grinders and this one is an absolute pleasure to use. I took my time deciding on an espresso grinder and I am very happy with mychoice. I also ordered the matching put press and my baristas and I are very pleased with the work flow.
3: Puqpress M3 for Mahlkonig E65S Great addition to the cafe This little device has been wonderful. I love what it does, with so many variables in making quality espresso it has been nice to have a constant. It also speeds up work flow and is good for wear and tear on baristas. This also makes training new baristas easy and helps them start making great espresso right away. If you are on the fence or some kind of purist get over it and start making lives easier. I had my doubts but am very glad I went ahead and added...
