I usually don't go to Marshalls often, but when my friend visited from overseas, she wanted to shop there, again. The store had a good selection, but there was a cashier named Maria who behaved horribly, not for the first time. The first time I encountered her, we were in a long line, and when it was our turn, she suddenly switched her attention to a UPS delivery person. I understood that the delivery person was busy, but Maria proceeded to have a loud and flirtatious conversation with him, completely ignoring us. When she finally turned back to us, she seemed annoyed and rushed. I forgot about this experience, but yesterday, my friend and I went to Marshalls again and had a similar experience. Maria was loudly talking to another cashier about her Thanksgiving traditions, what they cook, how they eat and so on. Common Maria. Why customers should listen this standing in the long line. She significantly slowed the casher down right in front of me. I came home and decided to write a review which I rarely do. This behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. I hope that management will take action to address Maria's behavior and ensure a better shopping experience for...
Read moreI am regular customer to Marshalls and TJmax, first time visited this particular location , the other reviews are correct about rude and unreasonable attitude from staff. Found an item which didn’t had tag, the cashier randomly ringed it up amount with the similar item from the same brand, didn’t bother checking(for the second time as I had another item which didn’t had clarity on price). And since I shop a lot in the store I know sometime even the same brand similar items have different prices. The problem was cashier was showing an attitude like she practically remembers the price of each and every item in the store. We kindly asked to check the price and she said that’s how they do it. We asked for a manager , she spoke to some other lady and said that’s a manager. When we tried to spoke to the other lady she said she is not a manager but supervisor. The problem is trying to get rid of customers because they have line or overworked or not bothered about taking an effort to check the price. And also saying she spoke to manager when she actually didn’t. Will try to skip this...
Read moreWish I could actually buy something from this store but unfortunately instead of trying on clothing in store like a civilized human being, shoppers are subjected to purchase their selections and try items on at home where they will be inevitably sneezed on prior to being returned to store where they almost certainly will not be washed before being hung back up on a rack for other customers to purchase. Such an arbitrary guideline to close fitting rooms as if shoppers are incapable of factoring the risks of trying on clothing on their own. On second thought maybe management at Marshall’s is hoping we’re all too lazy to return the items that we would have not purchased in the first place if given the chance to try them on in store. To whom it may concern at Marshall’s, I know the risks. I promise to keep my chin diaper on. Let me try on clothing in your store so I can pay the store for items I like and not walk out empty handed...
