I loved the outside atmosphere with the nice tree for shade, the lights, and flowers on each table. I didn't care for the food much though. The wings had too much breading on them (where's the chicken?). Also, if you don't like spicy wings, there is very little choice. We ordered a steak salad. The steak was good and tender. The salad however was just plain iceburg lettuce and had a half of a hard boiled egg (not even a whole egg!). The ranch dressing was just average. It's a shame. I really liked the outside sitting area, but I'm not going to go back. ****update: we decided to give it a second try. The French onion soup was perfection!!!! The taste: perfect, the ratio of onion to broth to cheese: perfect. I had a special of the day, which was a salad with chicken, strawberries, mangoes, and feta cheese. It was really good. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger, and that was good too. At this point, we'll come back again.

I haven’t been here in years. It is still a charming local restaurant. Whether a quick lunch or a special occasion there is a diverse menu to choose from! Bert’s has a following and always has a full parking lot! Today I had the mushroom burger with Monterey Jack cheese. I judge a restaurant by its burgers. These are always fresh made and they aren’t extremely thick….just the way I like. The buns also were a nice size…enough to keep burger together but not so full of bread to take away from the burger. And it had lots of fresh mushrooms too! My dining partner had the special..,stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes. He was quite pleased with his choice. Our server was a very attentive server checking in on us several times. Would love to try desserts but that is next time a dessert outing! Definitely will go back.

We hear about this place often, so we finally came to try it for ourselves. Obviously it's popular because the dining room was pretty filled on a Thursday evening. It was loud, but you can still talk over the noise easily. No music, just customers talking. My husband & my dad ordered raspberry tea, and they both loved it. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, which was pretty good. The chicken was juicy & well-seasoned. I realized halfway through eating it that there wasn't any parmesan cheese. Not sure if they forgot or if they didn't have it. My husband ordered large fries (not pictured), which came out in a big basket-- lots of fries!! I was satisfied with the prices for most of what we ordered. Our waitress Katie was very pleasant and kind! Overall a great first visit.

Normally the food here is good. Today- was ok. Of course we were there at the height of a rush, and they were slinging food as fast as they could. The fish was over-cooked and hard to chew, the fries were... poor things. They were ok. The onion petals were great, and the salads. They had just run out of the soup I wanted but again... during a rush. Emily, our server was fast, good, very sweet and very good at what she does. The atmosphere is both really cool and yet in need of some refreshing. The dining shows masterful placement of tables to maximize guest count but also feels a little like a corral. Look, the food here is usually crafted with love but during a Saturday at 5pm... there's just not as much attention to go around even when the love is there.
