Beaver Area Heritage Museum — Attraction in Beaver

This is worth more than one visit. They have taken the old railroad station and have made it a showplace and gathering place. The Genealogy Center is in the basement, and events celebrating Beaver County history are held here and on the first floor.

The elegant first floor is available for special occasions. The lawn and gazebo outside the station is a favorite place for warm-weather weddings and photo sessions. The History Museum in the smaller building on the station grounds is delightful, as are the log cabin and cottage on the edge of the grounds.

What an interesting and fun place to go and see the local history. The center is full of great pieces of our heritage. And the couple who helped us were fantastic. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back....
