Do you like being told to pull up to the curb because your fast food restaurant can’t produce 2 cheeseburgers, fries and a drink while you are at the window? Do you like getting served 2 absolutely naked buns wrapped up LIKE cheeseburgers instead of cheeseburgers? Do you like getting served brownish food-sticks that couldn’t possibly be mistaken for french fries? Do you like chicken sandwiches that could be substituted for hockey pucks in a pinch? Do you like being charged more for small fries and drink than medium because they “don’t have a small meal” and “you ordered it wrong?” If you said “yes” to any or all of the above, I have GREAT news for you. This conveniently located gem in the heart of Bridgewater has proven capable of delivering on ALL of these feats of customer service excellence. If the things listed above don’t appeal to you, instead of going to this abomination of a McDonalds, grab the nearest pointy object and poke yourself in the eye…I assure you it will be a more enjoyable experience than frequenting this...
Read moreFirst, we were, my Wife and I, the only two customers. To begin, it felt like we were in the kitchen while placing our order. Some machine was spewing out a monotone hiss making it very hard to hear. from his dress and amount of keys and ancillary flotsom and jetsom, I assume the cashier was a manager. He got our order wrong, but since we didn't pay for the item we didn't get, we cut our losses. The real problem was that as we paid, we stepped off to the right-our right-but still at counter. The cashier gives us a dirty look and tells us that there are customers behind us. I turned over my left shoulder and in fact, there were two men. There was plenty of room as we were at the other, closed, cash register. Then the fries were horrible. The grease needed to be changed. NOT going back to that McDonald's. There were only four in the restaurant. Me, my Wife and the two newly arrived gentlemen. Don't believe the drive through was busy either as there was not a scrum of activity at the window, or kitchen for...
Read moreThe Bridgewater/Bound brook location is regularly subpar (thats being nice about it) constantly wrong with any requests such as sauces, no onions, extra or no anything on any sandwich. I've had to go back 3 times for a breakfast order and I've been met with nothing but dirty looks like its my fault they can't teach staff how to follow instructions. Yes there's a labor shortage but that doesn't excuse the lack of following basic instrucrions. Do yourself a favor drive the extra distance to Manville or the location on 22 by taco bell. Noone can be bothered to do the bare minimum. Last time I spoke with a manager I was basically told oh well. Tonight was my final attempt at giving them a chance. The woman who answered the phone when I aired my grievance bluntly told me its her first day and she's not responsible...why is someone who's there for less than a day answering the phones? How is that training? (And before you ask yes I wasn't as nice as I should have been but I'm done with the location)...
