I visited IHOP this morning with hopes of enjoying their Atlantic salmon, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The salmon was undercooked, that is unacceptable. I made three attempts to call the location to report this issue, but was unable to reach them. While I understand that things can get busy, there is no excuse for such oversight in food preparation.
Additionally, upon arrival, I was informed that they're out of broccoli and was offered a fresh salad instead. However, when I got home, I discovered that the salad was anything but fresh, it contained darkened, wilted pieces, clearly of poor quality. The red skin mashed potatoes were disappointing too, as they tasted as if they had been refrigerated and quickly reheated in a microwave. The flavor and texture were far from satisfactory. As for the french toast, it was passable, just okay. This level of service is disappointing, especially considering the cost of dining out these days. When customers decide to treat themselves, the least a restaurant can do is ensure that meals are prepared properly and with care.

Having an owner simply ask to copy and paste a franchise information link to obtain more information (which I did collaborate with) instead of addressing my concerns directly shows a concerning lack of customer service. Read moreI am completely disgusted at our experience here tonight!! It was not busy, we had a party of 4 and waited an hour for our food (which we never got!). We heard a waitress yelling at the cook and saw her aggressively shove a plate at him. Next thing we know... they start cursing loudly and plates start flying and shattered near our table. This was supposed to be my son's birthday dinner (his choice) and he was terrified!!! I asked to speak to the manager, and was told she was on the phone with the GM. I left my business card and requested a call back from the GM to talk about this horrible and unacceptable experience. Our waitress was nice and apologized profusely and was also very shook up. We got up and walked out, along with several other tables. There were a couple families waiting to be seated who also left. This is an embarrassment to your establishment and BOTH the waitress and cook should be fired. She continued to talk about this in front of customers and even yelled at the host that she would not be taking anymore customers. This was a complete sh** show and I've NEVER experienced anything like this.
Edited to add: After thinking more about this situation.....I am completely appalled that the manager's first reaction was to call the GM vs. diffusing the situation and talking with the frightened customers. You left the young waitress and hosts to clean up the broken glass when they were already shook up. This establishment seriously lacks leadership and experienced staff!! The manager should've gotten things under control before it escalated (because you could sense it was building up) and pitched in to help an obviously overwhelmed and stressed crew. Moved to the wedsite and online processed with no issues, same card. 2nd problem: Followed both Instructions through the link provided through text message and the email conformation none worked. Link said, let them know when your on your way and also when you arrived via the tab and someone will be out with your order. Waited 20 mins, no one came. Email confirmation said, call the number to let them know when you arrive and someone will be out with your order. Called the number for the store that's in the email, it says the number is disconnected, called the number from maps, disconnected, number from the link in text, disconnected. By now I'm sitting in the parking lot for 30 mins. Because I made a cubside order I was not dressed for the elements. So I had to walk out in the cold and slush with shorts and a t-shirt, looking ashy like uncle brown and my hair not put together. Got to the front desk, told them that I placed a curbside order which was sitting right next to the lady for approximately 30mins. So it goes without saying that the food was cold and soggy. Cooperate needs to check in on these guys, because they just ain't care about their reputation.
