Brighton 4th of July party. The event started at 5. Food trucks were available and plenty of port-o-lets. This park as a whole offers a lot of space for games of all kinds, or simply to sit and have a picnic. This was my first time attending the celebration and I was not disappointed. At no point did I see anyone fight, become obscene or being rude. For this event, your own chairs or shelter needed to be used; it was not provided, like at the Summer Fest. The band, Sisters of Rock, were very enjoyable. They played a great set and we thoroughly enjoyed them. At the time of the fireworks, there was a slight sprinkle and lightning was flashing in the distance. Some people left, thinking the show would get canceled. But those who stayed were rewarded with the rain stopping. The show was awesome! The fireworks were choreographed to patriotic songs. What also added to it was seeing the other fireworks going off from nearby neighborhoods. Oh man, it was such a beautiful sight. I can't wait for next year to...

We were at the Brighton High School Pool for an all day Swimming & Lifesaving training event for children from 5th grade to high school levels. Never saw the park Google. School District 27J has allowed our nonprofit group to make this youth based event available to children the metro area over & now some as far away as Colorado Springs for years at this excellent facility. The people of this community should consider themselves lucky that this school district supports all types of learning for their children and some others which have had on average 85% of the youth in attendance from the Brighton area at this event and can show off this community asset in this service to youth learning and advancement of these necessary personal...

Awesome park with great facilities. The hockey rink is particularly awesome. Just got finished playing a 4v4 game of soccer in it, we won 5-4. It started out with us down by 2 in the first, but then we quickly made back up ground by scoring 1 and then 1 more in the second. In the 3rd I scored our 3rd goal through a rebound off the back wall, and then they scored 1 to tie it up 3-3. After that, we scored 1 more and they scored 1 more in the 4th, and they came incredibly close to scoring in the last few minutes but we pulled it back to pull out the win 5-4. 10/10, would beat...

Visited this park when they had the Vietnam memorial wall memorial day weekend. Can't say much for the park area as in the playground, didn't venture over there as I was preoccupied with the replica memorial wall. Had alot of grassy open space where the wall was. I give this five stars because of the experience of seeing the wall. First time I ever seen it. Great experience honoring my grandfather who was a Vietnam vet. He made it back, thankfully, but died in 2012 from complications from Agent orange, so it was a very emotional day and good experience.
