Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Bristol Township

Update: My initial review from years ago I gave 5 stars because the manager and staff were great. As of 5/20/23 the people working there has changed drastically. I went in to buy a stuffed crust pizza and the crust was burnt. Had also called ahead of time to make sure the 16 piece order of wings I placed online would be half flats and half drums and was told it would be. I counted about 3 flats out of 16 wings. Hygiene here is also extremely lacking. The person who came from the back to make the pizza came straight from the back to remake my pizza without washing hands. Not sure if he washed it in the back but I highly doubt it, then heard what I thought him say he was going to go back and “finish eating “. The guy cutting the pizza was rubbing his face while talking to me and went straight back to cutting pizza without washing hands. I’m literally about ready to be done with all pizza places after this because no one should want to eat anywhere that does this. I’m sure they wouldn’t want to eat after someone who did that so not sure why they would think that’s ok. Definitely done with this location and will make sure I go into pizza places from now on to make sure staff is practicing proper hand washing. I do appreciate them voiding my $50 order with no hassle.

Old review:This is the absolute best Papa Johns I’ve been to. Called this store because I had an issue with another store that was not answering the phone to cancel my order. The gentleman working tonight not only contacted the store to get my order voided but he also made a replacement for me free of charge for all the trouble I went through that had absolutely nothing to do with him. After working a long 12 hr shift I just wanted to feed myself and family and get some sleep for my next shift tomorrow. The food was absolutely delicious and exactly what I wanted. This is the second time in a row that we have ordered from this location and received items made incorrectly. The first time we ordered the new ranch dorito papadilla and received the papadilla with a plain regular crust and none of the ranch coating on it. We gave them a second chance and ordered again tonight. This time was for the new Spicy Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust. It came with one topping and we asked for sausage. My husband brought the pizza home and when we opened the box it was a dry regular stuffed crust with barely any sausage. Some pieces had no sausage and the other slices had two, maybe three little pieces per slice. My Husband went back to the restaurant and they said yes, this is wrong. He had to wait another 15 minutes for the pizza to receive THE EXACT SAME THING they handed him the first time. Absolutely ridiculous! My Husband didn't want to waste any more time trying to explain to them how the pizza is supposed to come so he just left with the same pizza and they didn't give us the sauces we had previously payed for. On a Sunday at 9 pm roughly, I was surprised when I heard Papa John's was still open. My fiance and another family member decided to order pizza. Upon calling to check on a few things, she was told white pizza was no longer and Alfredo sauce was the white pizza. But upon writing this review it was confirmed in my selection that both were offered along with Tuscan 6 cheese, which is no longer available. So we ordered as close as possible. I made a custom GF pizza with no sauce, light 3 cheese, bacon, spinach and onion. The second pizza was just plain cheese GF. And the 3rd pizza was plain cheese pizza. My fiance was there as they completed the order and the person was playing games on his phone. The only reason I mentioned that, is because the pizzas were overcooked and harder than the dishes we ate off of. The gluten free pizza with toppings was more like 3/4 and 1/4 rather then 50/50. My guess is the person playing games wasn't paying attention to the order, because there were no other orders being made. 57.00 for this order and I would have been better off to buy Celeste microwave pizza from ACME.
