Patrick's Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Bristol Township

The staff was absolutely rude. We sat down in the dinning room and a gentleman (I'm assuming who was the cook and who was friendly) told the 2 bartenders we were in the dinning room and needed to be waited on and I overheard the one bartender say "I don't do the dinning room". So the other woman (who I'm assuming is the other bartender) came over to take our order. There was a smaller menu (front and back 1 piece of paper) on the table. She came over and asked if we knew what we wanted. I asked it was the only menu because I use to come there before and knew the menu was bigger before. She replied "yes" and then asked if we wanted drinks and I continued to ask if they had cream of crab soup because the menu said to ask about the soup of the day and they use to have cream of crab. When I asked this question the bartender or waitress (whatever the hell she was) she then rolled her eyes and said "let me check". To which I replied never mind and we left. I have been coming to Patrick's since I was a little kid with my parents and I always have raved about their food but not anymore. This was extremely disappointing and she was rude for no reason, they weren't even busy at the bar there was like 3 people in the bar...

I was concerned since, 15 years ago they served the prime rib dinner. And back then it was spectacular. So me and my BFF gave it a chance. They have a bar menu, small simple and honest. If you like chicken fingers ask how big they'll be. Shrimp what size? Just ask prior to ordering. We waited a while after our order, I ordered chicken fingers and my friend ordered a cheese steak with green peppers and onions. We waited patiently because we were conversing for a while. Our drinks were full and we were comfortable. The bartender graciously let us know that the cook was behind schedule. Most importantly, if I'm going to wait for my food, I like to be updated and that is exactly what she did. The bartender did her job well by informing us of the delay. I thought I would venture out and try some different bars in my area. This is a great little bar. Its definitely has a Cheers atmosphere, everybody definitely know everyone, but its definitely not cliquey. First time here and It felt very inviting. Mary the bartender was very attentive, even though it was very busy the night I stopped in. Food was excellent. Why the 4 out of 5? Its a smoking bar. UGH, Had no idea it was until I walked in.
